In A Hive Of Scum & Villainy [Raven]

[Dex]

"I will," she smiles, nodding. Relaxing against the bar she looks back toward the group as well. Watching Silas explaining something and Ari, the togruta from Carid's team, putting an arm on his shoulder before quickly moving it to his head and ruffling his hair. From here they can see the groan even if they can't hear it, Dex at that moment chuckles.

"Silas is.. kinda like my number two? Soo.. kinda makes me you for them? she glances back, she smirks with that cockiness to her that's just a little teasing. "But yea. Silas has been a real big help cause I'm not exactly in all the circles you guys are. Out of the enclave I don't really know what it means to be a Mandalorian from other people's perspective and it's.. well, it's interesting to learn. Tir joined up with us a couple hops back and she's pretty good- has a sick arm and I haven't managed to beat her in a arm wrestle yet," she chuckles again, "but Silas is more.. he's really good at convincing people when it comes down to it."

"Kriff.. he talked me up to taking a bit more charge of myself. Might.. have had a hand in the mess before but, nothing that was bad ya know? Didn't make me do or say anything that wasn't on my mind if you're worried about that at all," she says with a brief smile. "And Ari's just visiting, going back to Carid soon."

[Raven Cadera]

Seeing the groan rather than hearing it, Raven chuckled too and looked down into her drink, listening with a smile to Dex talk about her little group.

"I'm glad you're having the chance to learn more. Though even the Enclave has a bit of an eclectic group," she smirked, knowing that even among the group there, there were variations and different ideas on things. "Me, I'm just proud to see how far you've come, making your own choices. That you're here with your own group... doesn't change that we're all connected." Raven paused her rambling by taking another gulp of the drink.

"... Something I missed myself, back then. My parents... they gave me the lessons that our people united can be truly unstoppable, that fighting eachother only hurt us, weakened us and threatened to undo us. It's why they were on the side of the New Mandalorians, back before... that was no longer a thing." She had spoken of the historical aspects of the New Mandalorians, the recent civil wars and struggles, to Dex before, but never from the more personal perspective. "Mind you, they were warriors. Not pacifists. But they saw the ideal of saving our people before we wiped eachother out."

"I forgot their teachings then. I don't wish to do so again... though with the Saxons bowing to the Empire, don't know how much choice we'll have otherwise. Still..." she looked at Dex, thoughtful, as her blue eyes sought hers. "You're doing good work, sister. Maybe it's people like you, Silas, and Ari, who will make an impact on this chapter in our people's history. History isn't only changed by those who rule or lead, after all. Just remember to be careful too, alright?" At that, she reached out and placed a hand on her sister's shoulder. Even if she had changed since Bellionas, she couldn't lose her protective nature completely.

[Dex]

"We will-" she laughs, "I will, me and Silas might have to watch after Tir a bit. She's a.. think Dredgen but younger and maybe a bit too prone on slipping into a drink and then slipping into someone with her fist," she chuckles briefly, shaking her head as she watches them across the way. Crossing her arms over her breastplates there's a small sigh.

"Miss.. being at the Enclave but it's good.. good to be out and about," she looks to Raven, a smile growing a bit more. "Miss you too, and I'm glad.. glad it sounds like you've been thinking about things a lot. Not really-" she shakes her head. "Not sure if it's fair for me to say or whatever, but I'm glad. Can't change what's been done but we can fix tomorrow, yea?" she smirks, taking up her drink and raising it for another quick toast.

"For tomorrow?" she suggests.

She smiled fondly at Dex while leaning her elbows against the counter. "They miss you too, but sometimes... yeah, being a bit apart can be good. Puts things in perspective. I know it did for me." Though in different situations. If Praxton hadn't been made to search for the new enclave... Raven suspected she wouldn't had found the courage to confess her feelings. Would've just hovered around in the proximity of him, in hopes that he'd notice her, because she would've been too scared to express herself so directly.

"Tir sounds like quite the character," Raven chuckled, successfully avoiding a spit-take though it had been a close call. "But yeah, let's toast for tomorrow." With a grin, their glasses clinked against eachother again.

"... Think you could do me a favor? Not sure if Ari's the type to listen to me if I were to ask her, considering... the circumstances of our last meeting, but... would just be to bring a message to Carid."

[Dex]

"She's.. more agreeable than you might be expecting," Dex chuckles, shaking her head a little before nodding. "But- yea, I got you if you want me to pass it along. Or I could just stand behind you and look menacing or something," she says, a little tease to it. Dex wasn't.. that menacing, usually.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven snickered. "Ah, hmmm... wouldn't want to scare her too much, mm?" But, it did make her reconsider. And having given it some thought, she nodded.

"I'll take your word for it though. About her. Might as well put on my big-girl pants and tell her myself."

[Meiyokashi]

"Let's go," she says with a nod toward the table, that easy grin of hers. Drink in one hand, the other to pat Raven's shoulder, the duo took off back toward the table with the others. Working their way through the often testy crowd Dex puts her hand on someone's back who was about to step backwards into her. They complained but shut up when she shot back a look that was more promise than threat- which meant it was a pretty good threat.

Making their way back through without more incidents, they manage through. Everyone looks to the pair and Ari gives Raven a more specific, "Fancy finding you here," she smirks, her helm off to the side like the others. She looks like most togruta she's probably seen, save for the little personal flair that any being has in their appearance but there weren't any major scars or deformities most of the older fighters in their culture seemed to have. At least, not on her face.

Raven on the other hand was more used to moving through a crowd like this with an attitude and expression that read: you will move out of my way or I will make you.

A perk that came with being tall and broad-shouldered.

Rejoining the others, she had one more sip of courage from her drink. "Yeah..." her blue eyes focused on the Togruta, "didn't expect to see you again, to be honest, but... I'll consider it an opportunity."

She made sure to keep her tone calm, emphasising the words in a non-threatening manner.

"... When you return to Carid, I ask the favor that you deliver a message from me. Tell him..." a pause, realising she couldn't back out now, "tell him that... if I meet him again, I hope it can be fighting on the same side. The past is in the past now, the matter is settled, I want to move on with the future now."

She wasn't sure if it came out exactly as she had imagined it, but it was said now. "That's it."

[Meiyokashi]

As Raven delivers her message, Dex slides into the seat beside Silas with Tir on the opposite side. Standing at the front of the table Ari was directly to Raven's opposite. Measuring the younger woman for a moment she furrowed her brows, nodding, "I can tell him that, yea. Carid's.. well, that's what Carid wanted when we parted ways. Maybe not with the hope of fighting on the same side but.. good to hear it's all in the past now, yea?" she smiles, looking between those of the newly formed trio.

"So.. sitting for a drink or just gonna stand there all night?" she says, a broad smile as she locks gazes with Raven. That shared moment, warrior to warrior, a little challenge in it that inspires the rise to action.

She had given her word then, but it was a different matter to stick by it. To commit. And she wanted that to be clear.

A small smile broke the seriousness on her face, and with a chuckle Raven took a seat by the table. Once more looking over the gathered ones.

Troubles aside, at the end of the day, they were all Mandalorians. Even if they were a contentious bunch.

"I'm going to have at least one more drink. Anyone got any entertaining stories to tell that we can toast to?" There was a fierceness to her grin. Ready to just waste an hour or two with her brothers and sisters.

Today was a good day.
