I'm really proud with this game, leagues and bounds easier and more prepared with it from the first. As always, there's improvements I feel like I can make and I look forward to making them come Game 3! However, I think I've got a good idea of my niche for what I like and how to manage that as a GM in the PbP arena so that's pretty cool! Things aren't always perfect, and I do have times I wished I could manage more but I'm happy with what I did manage and I appreciate you all so much for being understanding along the way!
You all have been wonderful this game, and I've adored exploring it with you all. I'm really proud of the big character moments that were able to be spread throughout the game, big and small, good and bad (for the characters.)
Of course I can't answer every question, and I might even supply random tidbits of my own as they cross my mind, but feel free to ask away! As well, feedback is most certainly welcome!

Thanks so much for all the hard work that I know goes in to GMing. I've really enjoyed the feeling of depth behind the people and stories in this world, and appreciate getting to clutter up a corner of it as I get the hang of the system and setting.
Because Dhel thinks it would be mean to ask: What did Petra set up that meeting with her sister for? It was almost certainly not worth the outcome.
Gonks: Results of the same icky experimentation Mara's brother is suffering from?

Petra:
Objectively, yea- it wasn't worth the risk in the slightest. Emotionally, however, the fact the Empire was searching for her had Petra really scared. Which got her thinking a lot about her sister and how she hadn't actually talked to her in forever. So, it ended up being a mix of that fear with "What if I get caught and I never got a chance to just talk with my sister again?" and just needing to feel the comfort of seeing her sister again.
Gonks:
Exact same, for the most part. Some of the Gonks are just individuals who have committed themselves to a life of raiding and violence, focusing on strength and what they can take without experimentation. However, the more mindless ones are former test subjects unable to control their anger impulses at all. Dace is a special exception in that he's managed to maintain some control of his self, but without intense focus he'll fly off the handle just the same.

Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!
*tackles Meiyokashi*
Thank you for a great game. Like last time, I had a blast, and once again just allowing myself to be swept up in the story rather than going in with a clear mindset of "this is what I wanted to achieve" (Raven's also much more motivated by intangible things like family and relationships than by other things so that makes it easy to kick her into action for story-purposes
).
I have many questions, some of them probably more reserved for private resolution stuff...
How long were you planning on nearly-killing Praxton? Did the scenario change at some point with him dying instead of surviving, and was it a possibility for him to die if things went differently in the first half of the game?
How would the final battle at the spaceport had looked like if we hadn't done some successful tactical planning ahead of time? Would Sera had brought up the possibility of escaping via the water at some point?
What was your favorite moments in the game and why?
Same question for NPCs.

Thank you very much for running this game and I had lots of fun!
I know that it has been an especially rough start at the beginning with getting sick but I'm glad that you've managed to power through it and I think the game was a success!
Hm, I don't think I have too many questions. Some might be about Sofia but we're still doing the scene and I imagine that much of it is meant to be shrouded in mystery. Maybe she's an Imperial secret agent? Or just a girl looking for fun! It's kind of fun guessing at the moment. ^_^
Raven asked some good questions above. Oh! I guess I was kind of wondering about the Sisters a little bit. Soleene was originally was going to see if they were involved with either the Imperials or the resistance. In the end, I suppose she was glad to not get too deeply involved with them. Organized crime is scary business. However! Did they have any sort of connection if she kept on pushing that avenue?

Thank you from me as well, and sorry for causing so many headaches.
Speaking of which, I assume droid rights would have been one of those topics that takes way too much mental power to actually make a plot point of, I know it's one of those issues I don't know where to start with.

Lots of kudos for a great game with, as you said, highs and lows for the characters and lots going on.
I'm curious about little things -- like the "force sensitives feel this" on the location descriptions, in light of so many PCs being force sensitives. Did you always plan on that little extra? I thought it was great, and I loved running with it in my Sapphire threads, although I probably drove other players crazy.

Praxton!
Praxton getting stabbed was the outcome of a lot of threads I was trying to piece together suddenly finding a central hooking point. How to get the enclave on Bellionas, how to develop the faction plot further, and a whole host of other ideas and plans I have/had. Praxton dying wasn't something I considered long. Part because I wouldn't want to "and now he's just dead" someone, especially one who has a significant connection to a PC. When someone like that dies it's something I'd prefer to have a little lead up to or- in the chaos of conflict and battle. Also, I like the vibes from when characters survive things like that and the drama that taps into.
Combat!
I hadn't totally considered exactly how you guys might be able to get out! I had a few ideas, things I passively considered as "if they do this I can" but.. surprisingly over the water wasn't one of them. A lot of my planning energy went into making the encounter itself as solid as possible so that when it came to contact with player planning I could pivot a little on what you guys felt was the way forward and hone in on that.
Favorite moments are so hard!
I always have such a hard time backtracking for this thought because there were just so many. Phroth and Allura's first scene was fun cause of the interplay between her not only knowing who he was but ultimately her goal of trying to inspire him to turn. Dex leaving was good and memorable, I liked how impactful it was to show some of the divisions of thoughts from within house for the enclave too. And there's just too many other ones to go through them all!
NPC's were really fun this game!
One's I enjoyed and take a lot of pride in would be one's like, Ketsu and Rezzie. Characters that didn't exist until they suddenly needed to exist.
Ketsu in the party I wanted to briefly define someone who Carid would get a drink from and suddenly he had a vicious right-hand of a Mandalorian. A woman who is Mandalorian, her thoughts on what it means to be one don't extend beyond the battle and being a truly peerless warrior.
Rezzie, meanwhile, came about the moment I felt one of the raiders would try and bolster Varina up. Someone with a bit more heart, so they would be young, and then she just built up from there.
Sofia is a character I enjoy a little too much maybe! Any chance I got to play her was a pleasure, and the relationships she got mixed into are super fun.
So many others too, my Inquisitors have a special place in my heart and I enjoy their vibes and what they'll mean for the setting moving forward.

I'm glad you're having fun guessing! That's ever what I hope to manage. Thank you for all the scenes with her, I've adored them, and am adoring the current one, all very dearly.
The Sisters themselves aren't directly involved with the Empire. However, Vex does. As folk in the last game saw she has a relationship with Alder Divo in that they're at least on a name basis with one another and recognize one another. Meanwhile, she also seems to be playing some kind of game as Manny, Jyrvess, and a few others stole some Kyber for Jarvis who was working for Vex! So, it's possible something coulda turned up but the Sisters currently are focused on setting up a place here to stay!

It's something I'd say, for this game, is best left as a character motivation! Something that may or may not come up over the course of play that does inspire the character to action. Droid rights aren't on the main docket, but there could be times where it comes up potentially! Admittedly I'm much better dealing with Organics and the like!
And it's okay, no sweat

Something I always had in the back of my mind when setting up for this game was, "What can I add/do that will make this cool? What are the tools of the setting and universe I can add to give a cool vibe to a place that it's workable." and that Force Sensitive section came up as an idea half-way through making some of the locations.
At the time I had the idea it very much felt like a eureka moment and I was so stoked about how cool I hoped people would think it was. I'm glad you liked it

And, with that batch done, rather than repeat the same thing to each of you individually which would be nice to do normally but feel a little.. dry eventually for some. I'd like to share this very earnest thank you for your appreciation of myself, my characters, and my game. They got a lot of my heart in the details and that you appreciate those details makes me beyond happy. It means
so much to me that you all enjoyed it so much.
Thank you all! I appreciate it dearly
As well, I'll take this space to also thank Flession. Whom helped me a whole bunch in exactly the right places I needed him to. An actual pleasure whom I could never manage to thank enough for the work he did!

To heap praise upon you thank you very much for all the work and time and determination you put into the game! Thank you for rolling with my out of the box ideas and helping Deonis come to the screen. You're one in a million and I look forward to exploring all the new avenues of story and characters you've set up for us.

Thanks for the great game and I look forward to the next one
I just wanted to note that I really enjoyed the noir scenes you threw my way. There was a lot going on that I completely missed, like the force plots and much of the Mandos, but that really made the setting seem more alive. Hopefully next time I won't spend the first two weeks driving across the country and marking a jillion essays.
I've got a few goal ideas to bounce off you too

I wanted to second the appreciation for the 'force sensitives feel...' bits scattered around. It makes that element of the game much more alive.
And thanks for rolling with the 'how about over the water?' option. I enjoyed having a chance to poke Korvin into using that piloting skill for something other than showing off on a bike. ;p

Things really didn't go as I planned but sometimes that's half the fun, and things went in a very interesting direction?

I'm glad! I was a little surprised I even had a fairly noir-ish plot just sitting in my lap unintended in the game already
Looking forward to seeing those goals!
