For this game we will be making use of Obligation. Allowing players to select an appropriate amount of Obligation values for additional experience or credits. Obligation has been chosen as it is easily the most usable out of the three potential options and encompasses many character types.
Some rules:
- Obligation for each player will begin at 10, and may be raised another 10 during CC for a maximum of 20.
- If a player goes over a cap of 20, they will receive the Experience debuff (they will not be able to spend Experience.)
- Groups for Obligation rolls will be determined organically from the remaining players by putting as many people into a group up to a maximum of five as evenly as possible.
What I learned in the last game is that this is a much simpler way to handle Obligation that allows for the more organic group making that is commonplace in the PbP atmosphere.
