What is Known?
Gonk raiders are a problem that have only begun plaguing the people of the lower city in the last six years. However, this limited time should not make one think that the Gonk raiders are not a dangerous threat. Many are desperate, some seek power, but all of them are vicious beyond measure. Gonk's are sentients, non-droids, who get their name from the gonk power unit droids, named so because they are frequently known to have little intelligence when it comes to their actions. However, a few among them may be considered to have passing intelligence, Warlords that exist among the many groups that make home within a large section of the lower city known as the Gonk Territories.
Despite the trouble they cause the people of the lower city, and the power they wield down there the Gonk Raiders have not troubled the denizens of the upper sectors of the city although rarely some bands do spill out into the surrounding badlands. Though a Gonk is hardly the most vicious or dangerous thing you might run into out there. Gonk raiders are nevertheless known for their abduction of folk, and general hoarding of wealth and supplies. Earning them their reputation enough that the billowing smoke clouds from the giant fires near the center of their camps are a clear warning to any wannabe explorers down in the lower city.
