[Julo]

"Preferably? The end of the opression of my people," he said with a half-chuckle, low in it's nature and held back from its fullness. Shaking his head, "That's more of a wild hope though. Something the years inside an Imperial prison forgotten by most reminded me was probably always a little out of reach from just us alone. However," he glanced around at all the faces, helmets and not.

"Well, together I learned a few folk with the means and will can still make a hell of a difference. So, that's what I'm hoping folk can do here. Make a difference," he said with a small reserved smile. "Hoping it'll be in a way that has more people walkin' away from it than what went down on Kamda."

[Dredgen]

Dredgen had found himself a nearby rock to lean up against while everyone listened to Julo. With Ravens attention toward him he seemed about to comment but just shook his head a little, the lowered shoulders rising up a bit. There was brief smile under that helmet, most likely.

[Claymore Wren]

Claymore folds his arms in front of him. "There are still no details of what is to needs done. But, there is no people you need broken out of jail, or a target to eliminate. Just manual labor... Okay."

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene turned to look at Dredgen and then Raven before turning her attention to Julo. "Well, I'm sure hoping for a hell of a difference if we're involved. There's nothing casual about having Mandalorians involved and I'm going to guess that lifting isn't the only thing that's going to be needed. The only thing that's going to happen, that's for sure."

She shrugged. "Okay, let's avoid whatever happened in Kamda. Lessons learned and all that. This time it's going to work, right?"

Her tone seemed to put the weight of that question entirely on Julo's shoulders solely. He was the one who was partly responsible for dragging them out here, he or his friend better have a really good plan to make this worth the trouble.

[Julo]

"This time we're not backing a woman with a history of believing she knows what sacrifices are worth being made. Instead, we're backing Mara Kayde. She's young, but her parents were outspoken against the republic, the CIS, and then the Empire before they were taken in for the speeches they gave. From what Nerra says she takes after them in all the right ways," he gives a half smile.

"Plan here is to wake up the people of Bellionas, and not whip them up into a frenzy so.. yea, hopefully this time it'll work. Best assurance I can give you is that it's better than trying nothing at all and just lettin' the Empire have their way with this planet and its people. Best assurance we can get that things won't go too far south is having you lot involved. Worst situation comes up we have a few born and bred warriors on hand to keep Mara Kayde and her people safe," he raises a hand, "but we'd prefer not needing you for that."

[Raven Cadera]

"So... we're the backup plan. Seems straight-forward enough," idly she rubbed her shoulder at the old injury from a year ago. "And otherwise, help out where we can while we're here."

Raven glanced to the other Mandalorians. "And finish our main goal too." There was one more thing, now that they were planet-side, but the outsiders need not know about that.

[Claymore Wren]

Oh, Julo finally gave an answer why we are here. Clay was about to get back on the ship if the Mirialan had kept stalling and waxing on about the past.

Clay bobs his helmeted head to Raven and walks away.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina stalked over to Raven and leaned in to whisper in her ear, "Do you think we can trust him with our main objective here?" She gulped; she wasn't sure if the next bit was appropriate. "Or what I originally came here for?" In a sense, she was now particularly glad she'd come to the wedding to be more in the loop of what was going on. Finding Praxton's attempted murderer battled with finding her mother for being on the top of the list but both were extremely important.

[Soleene Stryss]

"I'm sure the Empire needs less provoking than the people for something to happen. Maybe they're just waiting for an excuse. Assurances can only go so far in dancing around the possibility until you need to prove something. Either way, I'm fine with either outcome," she gave a few nods of her head at Julo.

"I personally like to assume the worst. Do you have an idea what sort of things the local government can throw at us?" She asked him curiously, hoping that there will be some mention of Saxon's somewhere in the talk. It was unlikely they would be out in the open but it was a try.

Raven cocked her head to the side, letting her visor face Varina as she spoke to her battle-sister in quiet Mando'a. "The Kamdan folks are good people. I trust them. I trust Dredgen's judgement as well in being in contact with this one." She couldn't speak for Julo exactly, as she hadn't met him before, but she had nothing bad to say about those few she had worked with on Kamda at least.

It seemed worth perhaps to ask him about the Salky Raiders too, while they were here. She nodded at Solenee's line of questioning to Julo, and added in to the conversation. "To add in to my sister's questions," she respectfully indicated Soleene, "what do you know of the other... local troublemakers. The ones calling themselves the Salky Raiders."

"Government has a lot they could throw here but- less so at a civilian population. Our luckier bet is that the folk in the Upper city rely on the same structures that give foundation to their part of the city as most the folk in the middle city do. Kinda.." he nervously chuckles at the thought, "dark.. needin' to think on it like that but.. we've seen what they're willing to do to maintain order now. Won't make that mistake again."

A sigh lead him into the rest, "Empire's in charge here. Expect a full garrison with anything you think they could muster if the worst happens. With the foundry around the planet and the flight academy in the Upper City they've got a number of assets they're willing to spend resources on protecting. Hopin' we won't have to deal with those now though. As for this bit about other troublemakers.. afraid I'm not certain. Most of my intel has been on the Imperial presence in the planet although.." he brings a hand up, scratching his chin. "There has been some talk around this famous landmark here? A crater which has seen some activity. Could be your folk?" he suggested, looking between the helmets of the group.

Raven's helmet head bobbed in a nod. "Could be. Thank you."

Looking to the others in case they had more questions, she finished with glancing between Dredgen and Julo. "I assume you two got a way to keep in touch then?"

Soleene went quiet as she didn't have any further questions on her end, there was enough food for thought on how they could possibly approach this. She wasn't the brains of this operation but she liked to have some idea of how this could be done. It might be wishful thinking that the foundry was only there to manufacture bolts and the flight academy only had gun-less fighters for practice.

The crater was peculiar, is that was passed as a tourist attraction here?
