Call to Arms [D1 | EM]

[Mandalore]

Stood before the assembled members of the enclave Mand'alor calls everyone to attention amid the scattered memory of the prior day, cleaning that has not yet been managed or done.

"Praxton lives," he calls out, looking to those gathered. "Yet, the attack he and we suffered by extension cannot go unanswered. We know where they have come from thanks to the efforts of one," he lays out an arm to indicate Dex, "who managed upon one on their way to return to the ship before they fled. Kagr having dispatched one of the others and drawing second blood in the conflict," he gives another arm toward Kagr.

"While the rest of us prepare for combat a select few will go out ahead of the rest of the enclave. Under Kagr and Dredgen's guidance they will find the ones responsible for this attack on our people. Either they will locate the group and prepare for the rest of the enclave to make ready for an attack- or they will bring us the heads of those responsible."

"I care for nothing else, now go- prepare."

[All within the Enclave are expected to be aware of this information and command]

[Varina Ordo]

Varina had stuck around after all. It would have been a dick move to ditch them after what'd happened even if she didn't like Raven. And for once, it seemed like she didn't have a problem with one of Mand'alor's speeches. It was simple, sure, but he was a man of action who clearly cared.

She lingered after the speech was finished. For now, she kept her mouth shut. It tended to run heavy with sass and now really wasn't the time.

[Soleene Stryss]

Upset and angry didn't quite describe what she was feeling. While thankfully Praxton survived, the intent of the message was pretty loud and clear. They decided to strike him on his wedding celebration while everyone else had their backs turned was insulting and beyond cowardly. Even if they were to do the galaxy a favour and scrub them from existence, it was unlikely to even the score. However, she was still willing to try.

[Manny Donos]

"Oh man." Manny half groaned, half sighed relief. "That's good." He looked around, trying to spot Raven. She could probably use some cheering up. Maybe a card trick, or... she always liked when he pulled eggs out of things, yeah!

"Don't worry. We'll get 'em." Manny nodded enthusiastically to the nearby Mandalorian. "Bros always have each others backs, and if there's one thing I learned about Mandalorians is that they're always each others bros."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Despite not being a Mandalorian herself, Jyrvess's association with the enclave meant she had felt some sense of anger from the attack as well. More even since it had happened to a friend on what should have been one of the greatest days of her life.

Still she knew as an outsider it wasn't her place to barge in and had instead quietly offered her skills to avenging the slight, both to Mandalore and Raven.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene slowly turned and looked at Manny after what he said. Despite the helmet and the visor, it was clear that there was a stare about her and perhaps it was on the incredulous side. Who was this guy and who brought him here, anyway? She crossed her arms and gave a hapless shrug.

"And the ground is down and the sky is up. Basically, all things that should go without saying. It's not a question of if, just when," she said bluntly in return.

[Claymore Wren]

Claymore stands and checking his gear and weapons are ready to go. He pulls his Dragoneye blaster pistol to see that the energy cell is fully charged.

He gives a little grunt of recognition to Manny.

While Clay is angry at the attack, he's not showing it with his cool demeanor. And he is wondering how the attack happened. The cameras and motion sensors should have spotted the men. That is the troublely thing, that maybe that is a mole in the Enclave.

[Manny Donos]

"And the ground is down and the sky is up. Basically, all things that should go without saying. It's not a question of if, just when," she said bluntly in return.

"Yeah, totally." Manny said, nodding agreeably. His expression was otherwise blank. What did that mean, exactly?

He almost held up his hand for a fistbump, but then gave her a little wave instead; he knew Mandalorians. "I'm Manny. Pleased to meet you. I'm a friend of Raven. And Praxton. In fact, I helped them get together, pretty much." Manny nodded confidently.

He gives a little grunt of recognition to Manny.

"Ayyyy..." Manny gave the fellow a wink and a fingergun.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess nods to Clay, noticing his brooding. "Always the first instinct to check your weapon after an attack no?" She says quietly. Her attention shifts to the conversation between Manny and the Mandalorian woman.

"Jyrvess Ertil. Forgive Manny his eccentric behavior." She smiled reassuringly, "He is a good person for the most part. I have seen you at the Enclave before...sorry for not having spoken to you before."

The librarian didn't quite belong here. At least, that's what Varina felt. Seeing her also reminded Varina of that conversation with Manny about some sort of request. Maybe taking on more requests would be too much but the teen didn't think too hard on it.

"Hey," Varina said with a small smile. She thought about mugging her in a joking fashion but the while Praxton thing made that unappealing. "Manny wanted me to help you with something. So, uh, what is it?"

She waved to the others, a bit shyly. Even at the wedding, she'd reflected on how long it'd been since she'd been in a crowd of people who knew her.

[Soleene Stryss]

"I see," she said simply, there was almost an internal sigh evident in her voice when Manny dropped a few names with his introduction. It seemed when she was ready to write off the non-Mandalorian, it turned out that he likely had more reason to be here than Soleene. She supposed she would have to give him a chance, the Mandalorians did with her.

"I'm Soleene," she said simply with a nod then to Jyrvess and Varina. "That's fine, it's likely you ran into more important Mandalorians. You likely had stories to tell."

[Claymore Wren]

Jyrvess nods to Clay, noticing his brooding. "Always the first instinct to check your weapon after an attack no?" She says quietly.

Clay holsters his pistol and gives Jyrvess a tap on her elbow. "You know me... I'm either checking my gear or actually using it." He says to the closest friend he has now days. "And, I know we spend hours saying about tech stuff, but I am a Mandalorian after all."

Then pulls his hand over his back to check that Snowflake is holstered and easy to pull out at a moments notice.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven was almost unnoticed as Mand'alor spoke, keeping herself to one of the passageways nearby that let her see what was going on while also remaining somewhat out of sight. She wasn't in the mood for sympathies or words of comfort right now.

Still feeling shaken by what had happened, she leaned herself against the wall, arms crossed as she glared behind her helmet at Mand'alor. She was angry. Frustrated. A lot of it directed at herself as well, but in the moment she just wanted someone to blame for this happening in the first place. Someone who was more easily within her reach than the one responsible.
