If Qar was asked why he'd decided to go there, he couldn't really tell. The woman herself must have been a factor; she was the reason why he'd even come to this planet, but there were vibes she was giving off that made a sense of unease hard to banish. In the end it was perhaps the need to follow through, to see where it all led, to find whatever sense of wonder was to be found at the end of the road. His racer's soul also hated the waste of momentum.

He'd found the penthouse with relative ease, and the floor. Soon he'd find himself before the door with the number the key had on it.

Entering the penthouse he found himself in a world certainly far separated from the rest of the galaxy. This room was overly extravagant, even from the front door he could see the multi-leveled room with a great outlook over one of the more scenic directions of the city, out over the ocean they rested beside. Walking in there was stonework in here that gave a crisp and clean feeling. With the sound of running water, like a lagoon off to his side behind the entry hall that the penthouse had. A long bar separating him from a immaculately tiled kitchen area and to his immediate right a coat room.

However, the main attraction was the woman he came to see standing in the middle of the entry-path toward the central part of the penthouse some thirty feet away. Standing there she waited, watching him with one arm crossed over her stomach so that one hand could serve as a rest for her elbow. While her other hand watched him, framing her face.

Opulence had taken him aback a bit, even if he'd strongly suspected it before coming. But he recovered quickly, as he was never too impressed by manifestations of wealth, also because he held a rather irreverent attitude to money and what they could buy. In life, he was more interested in things they couldn't.

To being framed, he raised one eyebrow, then combed his fringe back with his fingers to show more of it. "A security scan? Does my biometric data check out, Iris?" He joked with a small smile.

"Step closer, I'll take a better look," she says, her voice conveyed a sense of mirth and pleasure with the joke but she didn't smile.

He did as much without hesitation or rush, his body maintaining an open, relaxed stance, his eyes on her eyes rather than on her hands. It was a conscious manifestation of a credit of trust he was giving her, with neither yielding, nor the pursuit of control.

"You're more than welcome." He replied in tone that had some mirth in it too without being suggestive or presumptive. "If I have something to hide, it's probably well-hidden."

"Good boy," she says when he approaches, the quirk of a smile as she walks around him and searches him thoroughly. Which served it's purpose, whatever he was carrying she would find because while she didn't necessarily have the trained hand at searching a person she had time. Time and the opportunity to be extremely handsy.

Finishing that she walks to his front and smiles again, without another word she merely starts taking off his upper-wear. Starting with pulling up his shirt to make sure it was loose before turning to the rest. Unless Qar desired otherwise, she wouldn't stop until he was bare-chested.

He would remain calm through both the personal search and stripping; all she got was a lighter, bike keys, a stimpack, cred wallet, and a pack of cigarettes. He didn't mind her being handsy, in fact he found it amusing. Fortunately, he wasn't too ticklish, at least not where she'd got so far. "Looks like you're the busy type, Iris. It's rather nice. Want me to return the favour?"

All of his possessions she found were taken and deposited atop a convenient nearby end-table, save for the clothing which was discarded to the floor without thought or care.

"No," she says, as quick as a whip. Putting a single finger in behind his belt she thought for a moment but shook her head. Placing her hand on his chest to influence him to stay there she steps back and regards him for a minute, and then another. "You're well behaved, more than I thought you'd be. We'll see how that keeps.." she says and then walks around him as if he were on display.

From behind him she places both hands on his back, a bit shorter than he was she couldn't quite lean in for his ear but she did speak softly behind him, "Now walk, forward and then around the corner. Not too hasty though.. take your time," she says, and then leans back.

"I'll humour you..." He said with calm still, though there was something sharper underneath, just like you get the rock when you till too deep. It'd be gauche and silly to levy threats now, but he hoped she was aware that were she to transgress him, it'd strain whatever working relationship they had beyond repair. Still, his danger sense started tingling. He hadn't survived this long by being too trusting. Walking forth, he steeled his senses to detect little things, discrepancies. Was he being filmed? Was there an audience to this?

"You'll do more than that- but quiet now, no more speaking unless directed otherwise," she prodded him forward. As he came around the corner he could see the pools that he believed he heard and it looked more real than it had any right doing so. Rocks and foliage marked a lot of the edges and rims and it was a truly beautiful place. However, what was perhaps most curious was the chair laid out in the center of an open space on the floor.

As he scanned for potential threats he was merely overtaken by the immensity of it all, had he suspected something untoward there was plenty of opportunity for it here as the rooms construction was practically a wilderness which could hide any number of things. However, there was enough from what he did notice that suggested this idea that caused him worry was not a cause for concern. There was no audience, and had there been a camera the steam coming off the water would have distorted it.

As he came around the corner and stopped she would come around to his side, looking up to him and then to the chair, "Sit."

"I am looking for the right word for the kind of hospitality I am experiencing from you." He mused with some humour, though to say his inner tension went away would be too much. He had seen lushness before, though for someone born on Mirial views like this always registered as something between awe and revulsion for the ostentatious excess.

He sat and looked around, then back at her. "I guess the point to this is that there is no point. You just enjoy the fact that you can."

"I do," she walks toward him and looks down, though she is shorter the seat certainly allows her the height advantage now. Something that she appears to relish in for a moment as she lays a hand on his cheek and frames it for a moment with her thumb crossing just by the edge of his lip.

"Now.. the rules for tonight you must follow. Be quiet unless spoken to, and remain in that chair," she tilts his chin up to have him look directly at her.

"Understood?

"You go a long way with your house rules for your guests to feel comfortable." He shrugged, his opinion reserved to his gaze as the tone remained humorous. Then it didn't. He faced her directly. "I comprehend what you're saying but I'm not a thrall, Iris. If you want me to just sit and watch, that's okay I guess, but don't go too far with all this."

Looking down on him she left her face a blank slate of emotions, just the focused measurement of calculation as she inhaled, and then sighed. Walking away a toward a nearby cart filled with various alcohols, "See yourself out," she waves her hand dismissively as she approaches it. Setting her hands on a very fine and large bottle of wine.

"I'm no longer in the mood," she says, her voice lowered with that barely veiled frustration.

"If you needed a plaything rather than a real companion I wasn't a right choice in the first place." He rose. "Perhaps we should have started with something more casual than domination games. I came to this planet because of you, and I've done the bidding, thinking it may get us somewhere. But it looks like your own mind is not in order about this. Not sure how drinking alone is going to help you though." He started walking but then stopped, with the slightest hesitation, waiting for her next words or their lack thereof.

"My mind is perfectly in order, Qar," she says with an underlying tension as her nails scrape a little across the glass. With an inhale, and then an exhale she let herself settle. "Your mistake has always been considering yourself my equal. Mine was believing you were anything more than just another face. Now I see that both cannot be corrected," the words linger.

"Oh, and one more thing dear?" she says, looking up from the table and setting the bottle down a moment. "If you ever attempt to place doubt on my mind again, to suggest you know me or my mind in the slightest, I will have some very nasty people pay you a visit and they will strap you to a chair much like this one with a much worse ending for you."

"Leave, now," she says, harshly as she collects up the bottle and a glass for herself.

He left, collecting his things, never looking back.

Then next day, he'd book himself a ticket off planet, somewhere else. Coming here was a mistake.
