[Meiyokashi]

Ketsu groans hearing Claymore's addition, "You kids take this.. too personally. We're Mando'ade- battle? Bloodshed? It's what we do, I go to the Manda when I die. Whatever you brats-" she coughs- "think of me. Follow the Resol'nare and you will too. Just hope it's like Prayton said.. like in the old times," she shifts up more against the barrel, her body weak she shakes a little as she tries to push up. "Carid.. hate him all you want but he's got layers, everyone does. Ain't so bad, if you get to know him," she coughs violently after the little speech, coughing blood into her hand.

She was goading them. Raven held up a hand to make Clay back off.

Apart from that, Raven refused to give her the satisfaction of reacting to her words. She would deny her enemy that in their final moments.

There would be no useful answers to get from Ketsu now. The woman knew this was her last fight... these people, they would probably not hesitate to capture and torture herself or any of the others from the Enclave if they believed it useful. A part of her considered it. Seriously even.

No, she would not be like them. Just because they stooped to low levels of honor, she would not do the same. Ketsu would be too dangerous to be left alive, and torturing her didn't nescessarily give any information.

Make her own choices. Stand by them. This was the way.

"Perhaps you will join the Manda," She said truthfully, shifting her arms slightly. In the end, it was Ketsu's actions through out her life as a Mandalorian that determined that, and none of them here.There was a poetic justice of sorts as Raven's wrist-mounted blade put the warrior Ketsu to rest.

"Ret'urcye mhi."

There was a moment of surprise- a smile, and then the peace of death as her ragged form slumped against the barrel.

Raven held the warrior for a moment before placing the now empty body back down.

Rising, she squared her shoulders and rolled her neck once. When she spoke, her voice was steady and commanding. "Question those still alive as well, then send them all on their way to the Manda. Before we leave, take their weapons and armors to be returned to the Salky Raiders; there are scavengers and bonepickers in this city, and worse a dar'manda. I want none of them walking around with anything Mandalorian."

In the moment of her passing the other Salky Raider, the man with a scar they spoke to on the first day, offered wish to the passing soul. However, if Rezzie had any thought to do the same she was far too pre-occupied helping Dredgen with Varina at the moment. Dex was in the back, her and Silas together but not speaking and just observing the events.

[Dex]

When Raven spoke afterwards Dex removed her helmet stepping forward, hesitating- looking back to Silas. With a nod she steps forward again, "I'm not butchering these people. Dying on the battlefield is one thing- killing them while they're defenseless," she shook her head, and set her helmet down on a crate.

"Anyone who tries can kriff off- or go through me," there was an edge to her voice.

Raven sighed silently, placing her hands on her hips as she stood before Dex. I'm gonna have to ask Praxton if I'm starting to look like his brother.

"Very well," her tone was even, calm, "I'm willing to hear what you will suggest we do with those who will try to kill us again, when given the chance, Dex. These do not have Silas' innocence in that they had no part to play; they followed Carid and Ketsu both, knowing where it would lead them."

[Dex]

Dex seems to waver but Silas comes up to her side, putting his hands to his side and nudging her slightly, "You gonna split the second Mand'alor makes a bad call to? Or should I split now? Since-" she glances to either of her sides- "you're about to make one. They fought for someone they believed in, and we hunted them. They wanna keep up the fight- they can risk it again. I'm not standing by and letting you butcher them while they're on the ground. Didn't do it when Mand'alor wanted it- not gonna kriffing do it now, especially when it's you."

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene watched the events between Raven and Ketsu. She kept watching even as Raven sent her on her way. Ketsu made her choice and this was the result of her decision. It was hard to pity her if she herself thought she was in the right. At least she didn't betray her values, as wrong as they were.

She tossed her hands up in exasperation. "What, we're just going to have them keep going at this until they die or know the error of their ways? They seem pretty stubborn and might not catch that lesson anytime soon."

"I always listen to what you have to say, Dex, and consider what you are saying. You know that." Raven reminded her Foundling, glad the helmet hid her frown. That Raider boy wouldn't have been alive if that wasn't true.

"But let me remind you, these people knowingly continued to follow Carid after seeing what he was. Someone who took advantage of our hospitality, to try to kill one of us when a hand was extended in friendship, and then left your friend to most likely die as they fled. They know where our home is. If you wish to speak for them, will you also then take responsibility for the lives in our home that may be lost by letting them go?" While she didn't like this discussion, Raven managed to keep some of her calm.

Soleene at least seemed to understand it too.

[Dex]

"If they do, gonna hold me accountable too? Cut me down when I'm weak from the fight? They make their choice. We make ours," she brought one of her hands up to her opposite shoulder, hand shaking. Despite that there was resolve in her voice, "I'm not a butcher."

[Raven Cadera]

"Dex," Raven's voice softened, hands leaving her hips as she stepped closer and extended to touch the girl's shoulders.

"We do not fight to simply let our enemies live to fight another day. And no, even if you had been wrong about Silas, I would never had hurt you, my student. But, would you want to carry that on your conscience, that your mercy to an enemy caused the death of family and loved ones? If they struck our home in the middle of the night, cut the throats of Kagr, myself, Silas, Dredgen... ok maybe not Dredgen because his skin's too thick... the point is... we fight to protect ourselves, our home. They already hurt us once. Do you want to take the chance that they won't finish what they started?"

[Dex]

There was pain- intense pain that welled up in her eyes as she listened to Raven, and a little bit of anger, "You're gonna try and make me feel guilty about my conscience like it's some kind of weakness? A danger to those I care about?" she spits on Raven's mask, stepping back and shaking away the hands on her shoulders. Visibly shaking with some emotion mixed between sadness and rage, though one started to shift strength over the other.

Her foot came down on the ground hard, "They try again, we fight to protect our home- that's what we do, we don't execute people while they lay unconscious. I don't see a shred of honor or dignity in that. Be a coward if you want, but the Raven who I looked up to was better than this," she says with a cold anger lingering beneath. Eyes looking down, she brings her hand back to her shoulder and then locks eyes with Raven. Undoing the first of many straps as she meets that gaze, "Do what you're gonna do- I won't have a part in this," and then another.

Silas, during this, slips back to the warriors- or at least tries to when the warrior with a scar steps in his way and shakes his head. "You can't be serious," Silas says, looking up visor to visor.

"Afraid I am, kid. They made their choice," he says sternly.

"And you made yours.." he steps backward toward Dex.

The outburst, not entirely unpredictable. The spit though, that one was a surprise.

Had she truly failed this much at training her... kriff... she hadn't asked for this. It was easy for Dex to say this... she hadn't been the one to almost lose everything.

Kriff, why had she been thinking she could do this this entire time. She hadn't accomplished anything, Varina was badly injured, and now this. The weariness, all the emotions of the past weeks, weighed her down as her shoulders slumped.

Taking a step back, Raven wiped her helmet. Visor turned to Dex in silence. And then, "do as you all wish. I'm done." Her voice, usually steady and calm, was now just worn down. Hollow.

Looking straight ahead, she walked. Past Dex, Silas, the others... and to the door, taking off her helmet as she stepped out to feel the cooling air on her heated face.

She had no strength left to spare for this now. They could do as they liked... it didn't matter what she tried to do anyway.

When the voice came out as it did Dex froze mid-second strap. Eyes wide a moment she.. wasn't sure what to do. Silas, however, came up to her side and put one of the clasps back on and gave her a little shrug. Putting the other back on Dex went to claim her helmet and then the both of them walked toward the unconscious warriors, warily watching what the other did.

Dredgen had been listening but he was focusing on Varina as they transported her, Dredgen keeping an eye on her condition and Rezzie helping. So long as she didn't fight them off, of course.

While the other warrior with the scar watched Raven go, he then looked to between Soleene and Claymore for chosen parts.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina finally stirred awake after a bit of irresponsiveness. She blinked a few times, replacing the serene expression from her sleep with anger. "Hey, hey, I'm alive," she said. "You don't need to carry me around." Impetuous as always, she forced herself free to stand on her own two feet.

Her left knee completely buckled. At the very least, she managed to break her own fall. "Jeez. Did none of you check out my leg?" She propped herself up and looked it over. It looked pretty bad, from her humble opinion, but it wasn't like she hadn't been shot before. "Ugh, I didn't bring my knife. I can't cut away to see what needs patching up."

At some point in the mess, Rezzie had taken her helmet off again and though a Chiss' eyes weren't usually expressive it still played in the brow how Varina's words made her hesitate. Not sure for herself on what was needed but there was that lingering desire to try.

Dredgen, however, lays his hand out in front of Varina should she wish to take it and offers a firm grip if she does. "I did take a look at your leg, it's numbed for now but," he pauses, and he too pulls off his helmet. Where he was usually jovial or deadly serious this time he was a mix, stoic expression but eyes that conveyed understanding for what he was about to say. These eyes sought Varina's gaze when he told her, "Your leg's dead. No saving it, and that's the hard truth. I'm at best a medic but- I've seen my fair share. If you want the details, I'll give them. If you don't," he nodded toward her.

[Varina Ordo]

Dredgen. More like... Boredgen. No, that didn't quite work, but Varina didn't really feel like talking to him. Hanging out with the Enclave was such a hassle...

However, he did become a bit more interesting when he gave the diagnosis about her leg. "Dead? I mean, I've woken up before where my arm was completely limp. That always feels weird." She narrowed her eyes at his stoic expression. A bit of understanding dawned on her... until she completely rejected it. "L-Like you said, you're only a medic. I'm sure some doctor droid will make you embarrassed for even saying that."

Dumbgen? Maybe that was better. "Only time I've been in surgery was to remove my wisdom teeth. That was easy, and a little funny afterwards."

[Rezzie]

"Kriff this," Rezzie mumbles to herself and then steps forward, nudging Dredgen out of the way. It wasn't her strength that moved him but the insistence behind the action. Getting down on a knee in the space he afforded she offers her arm and looks Varina in the eye, "Come on- dead or not, your leg isn't in any shape to walk on. So, let me help get you wherever you wanna go.." her composure falters a moment, an earnestness to her plea, "please?"

"Take you to a hospital or- I dunno, kriff, anywhere but right here."
