Carden strolled through the streets of the middle city, Juri and Cammie floating overhead beeping and booping at things they found that seemed interesting. Not that the young man was paying too much attention to them, after all he had other things on his mind.

Letting his eyes sweep the street he kept his eyes open for a droid shop, could be it was time to get his two cameras a new friend.

Soleene didn't really expect to be staying on Bellionas for more than a couple of days but it seemed that the situation was far more complicated than they initially thought. After some days here, she had grown slightly more used to the weather (although she still thinks it's wretched when wearing armour all day) and she was making her routines here.

As Carden was talking down, Soleene was standing outside of a shop that had its wares in open display in racks. She was fishing through various fabrics, cloaks, and scarves.

It was something of an odd sight, seeing an armored figure shopping for cloaks and scarves in this oppressive heat. It almost made him want to take a picture, though he repressed the urge.

She did get a nod of greeting though as he stopped to browse the shop next door which seemed to be selling a variety of hats.

If it were just a mere nod from the man, she might have just nodded back and continued her business. However, Carden did have those camera drones floating around her. It did make her a bit wary, especially when her mug could be on camera and not even know it. Apparently, everyone in the city already knew of the Mandalorians but still, there was the principle of it.

"Hey...Are you supposed to be some sort of neighbourhood watch or something?" She called out to him with the question.

His eyes shifted from the hats to the armored woman. "Neighbourhood watch?" He shook his head. "No." A gesture towarsd sthe pair of droids. "I'm a photographer, and you don't have to worry those two are just flying around, they're still if I'm taking pictures."

Couldn't exactly take good photo's when you were flyign around willy nilly... At least as far as he was concerned.

Soleene seemed to go quiet as she evaluated the truth in the man's word. She wasn't a photographer unfortunately and didn't know how the droids worked exactly. They had cameras and were flying around. Maybe all of this resistance business has made her a little antsy as a side effect.

She sighed and shook her head. "Right. Sorry about that. I'm not much of the publicity type. That was going to be my next assumption anyway. So you're a photographer then? What? Are there celebrities around here?"

"Maybe? Not sure why someone would want to take photos of something so boring. I suppose they are popular with the masses though." He offered armored lady delta a lopsided smile.

"I'm Carden by the way."

She took a glance around. "I don't know if there are many celebrities in this city actually, not much of an entertainment boom...but there are a few lounges where a few local acts play. I don't know if that makes it more interesting or more boring. It would help them, for sure, cut down on some of the footwork they're doing handing out flyers around here."

"Carden, nice to meet you...I'm Soleene." She nodded as she mentioned her name and chuckle. "Sorry for the stop there. I guess I wasn't all that big on publicity, got enough of it around here apparently."

"A fan of the local nightlife then? Carden asked rasing an eyebrow, he hadn't really been into many of the bars and other places on this trip. "It's a solid idea though. Maybe I'll swing by sometime then, see if I can talk to some of the acts and take a few pictures."

He tilted hsi head slightly at her second comment and smirked. "It's not like this is a job interview either, first names are usually good enough for introductions right?" Not that he had given his last name either.

"I think the local nightlife is fun, I'll admit, but my days of hanging out at spots like that every day might be behind me. I'm acquainted with one of the performers in the area, a bothan by the name of Dhelih. You might want to look her up sometime. She currently works out of the Cave which is home to other acts too. If you can't find her, I'm sure you can find someone who knows her or another performer." She nodded.

"Nah, I suppose not," she chuckled at herself, a bit more on the self-deprecating side. "How long have you been here?"

"I'll have a look sometime." Carden replied pausing after to pick up a hat and try it on. It was returned to the rack after a look in a mirror and a shake of his head. "Heard of the cave but I've never really taken the time to go in." Still as she said it might be a opportunity.

"Been here though? A couple of weeks, a bit of a long stay but i've managed to get some good shots and make a fair amoutn of credits so it's been worth the while. You?"

"I've really lost track of how long I've been here. I thought it was only supposed to be a couple of days but it turned out to be a few weeks as well, I think." She said, not being entirely sure either. It almost felt like forever. "There are a few things that kept me preoccupied enough. People are in need here. What sort of neat shots have you found here?"

"Got some fairly decent shots out in the swamps and bad lands." Carden replied after a moment. "Nothing really award winng, but they aren't too bad if i say so myself." They had got some decent reviews on the holonet too, not that he needed to mention that.

"People like glimpses into places they wouldn't normally get to visit on their own. Though you look a bit like the type that gets to see all kinds of new horizons."

"Not at much as you would think," she chuckled with a shrug. "This travelling stuff is fairly new to me in the last two years. Before that, I've been pretty much in large cities where things are busier and more vibrant, at least from the outside. I would consider this pretty rough and tumble but probably no fault of their own, obviously."

It has been pretty repressed in more ways than one.

"So you're more of a great outdoors kind of photographer?"

"Not as much of a traveler as you look then." Carden replied with a wry smile. "s for me? I guess you could say I am. I don't try to remain nailed down to just one thing though. Course as I said I'm not a fan of chasing celebraties for shots but I've worked with models before and even a private eye of two."

"It's more about the work that's available if that makes sense."

"No...but I am looking to change that, dull the shine on this armour a bit and get some dirt in the crevices." She paused for a moment after her words and shook her head. "Actually, never mind the second one but definitely the former."

She chuckled under her breath. "Ah, a private eye. Now that's the more exciting part of taking photos. I guess you're probably still chasing people for other people but it's more exciting?"

"Dirt in the crevices does sound like it'd be hard to get out." He mused in reply. "Probably best to avoid swamps in that case." Deserts too likely. Did sand get into armor like it did everything else?

"Yeah, I mean anything that can come with trouble can be exciting. Though taking photos on one spouse cheating on the other isn't the most spectacular. Unless the couple is into outdoor sex?" That was rare though.

She tilted her head slightly as she crossed her arms. "Swamps? I haven't even considered that. The last thing I want to happen is to sink in quicksand while I'm wearing this armour."

"Does it ever get unspectacular? It seems like a real-life soap opera in the making." She chuckled.

"Well, maybe you should invest in some jump boots then? should get you out of any quicksand you run across pretty easily." That's how quicksand worked right?

The taking pictures or the things people do to avoid being caught cheating on their spouses?" He asked with a wry smile. "If it's being a photographer i'd say it has it's ups and downs."

"I would but money's a bit thin when you're kind of holding up in this spot," she said as she gave a glance around. There were jobs but they were kind of stagnant just sitting in a place that was Imperial controlled. "I think I'll just hold out until I get a jetpack before I get too adventurous, especially needlessly."

"I guess I meant more catching someone cheating. It's more common in some parts of the galaxy I know, so maybe it doesn't seem as fun when the results are...expected. But that's not all you do, right? I hope this place has more ups than downs." It didn't seem like it but hopefully, someone else will tell her the bright side of Bellionas.
