Rebuilders & Raiders Part II: Beskar Boogaloo (D10, LE)

"Looking for Beskar outside of Mandalore.. you run into a lot of that," she says, taking a turn past a few of the warriors she briefly saw the other day. One gives Raven a quick nod of acknowledgement and goes back to cleaning her blaster. Continuing through the camp they come up to her craft and Reibelle starts digging through her things.

"You had to expect that though. Seeing the crater, the camp," she gives a quick glance to indicate the space around them. "Not a lot of.. hiding to be done here, not with a whole group of my people making camp on it for nearly three months."

Raven returned the nod to the Raider, though feeling a little surprised by the gesture given to her. Perhaps there was something left to salvage still of the relationship between the Raiders and the Rebuilders.

"True. When I learned that this was the Raiders' base, I figured it was as good as gone... but seeing the camp itself and the people here, I didn't get the impression it had been found and put to use. Not gonna lie, I was hoping by some sheer dumb luck it hadn't been found."

"Raiders here woulda found it, if it was here. Rezzie.. you know her, she's been all over the crater bored with being stuck here. Not an inch she hasn't dug through or kicked around in," she pauses, digging further and pulling out a few items. One was the chiefly important one. A holo-diary. "Not a lot was here.. some supplies, seems like a place someone once came to lay low. They left this.. the person who has a trail you're hunting," she hands it over.

"Never listened to it myself.. don't care to learn some random persons private life. Might have clues for you though," she says, with a noncommittal shrug.

Where Raven had felt that the hope to find further clues on Bellionas had ended, Reibelle had restored it now at least with this find.

Carefully she extended a hand to accept it, taking it in closer once it was in her hand. A holo-diary meant she'd have hear or see that man again, something she wasn't particularly looking forward to. But... it would be worth it. Hopefully.

"Thank you." Her words were low but nonetheless truthful. A moment passes before the diary is put away. She would wait until she was out of the camp to check it out, not wanting Reibelle or the others to see her reaction. "Once again, you have my gratitude, Reibelle Ordo. Know that if there's anything you need from me, you have only to ask. I don't know what else I can do to return the favor for what you've done for me and mine."

"We'll think of something," she says- and Raven is left with the distinct impression there should have been a smirk given the tone, but there was no smirk and it gave an almost certain feeling that Reibelle would think of something, someday.

But that was a consideration for another time and place altogether.

Feeling that their meeting had reached its natural conclusion, Raven extended a hand for a last farewell. At least for now. "Ret'urcye mhi, vod. Know you are welcome to visit our Enclave as our friend, should you wish it, in the future." Maybe to connect with old friends to talk about old times, or for other reasons. And not for stabbing-reasons - there had been enough of that.

All things aside, she wanted to at least part on good terms with the Raiders, in the hopes that one day they'd be able to fight side by side again. Hopefully to reclaim their homes from the Empire and its Saxon-dogs.

And when she was done here, it was time to regroup with Praxton and head out. It would still be a good while before all of them would rendezvous for the pick up point, and the others had their chances at one last night on Bellionas. Raven wanted nothing more than to spend it alone with her partner now... being with him, it made enduring it all worth it.

With a clasp around the forearm the shake was returned, and Reibelle offered no words- but a nod. As Raven parted she walks back toward the training droid and the poor thing was in for another walloping or two before the day was done.

Would be good to return to the Enclave to do the same in the training grounds there...

She cast one last look back at Reibelle before heading off, moving through the camp with a calm but even pace, exchanging nods with those she passed along the way. Nearing the edge of the camp, she looked around for Praxton, ready to leave this place behind her.

Together, they could look at this holo-diary, to learn what secrets it held.
