[Reibelle Ordo]

With a nod, Reibelle made her exit.

Nodding in return, Raven watched Reibelle leave for a little moment, then turned to Praxton for them to head back as she put her helmet back on.

It wasn't until they were out of camp that she spoke again. "So... didn't know that you two knew Varina's mother from back then. I am guessing your brother never shared that trivia with her?" There was no accusation in her tone, nor anger. Just... actual curiosity, as if she was trying to get a better impression of the picture. She didn't expect either of the two brothers to had known Reibelle Ordo had been out here, carving out her place in the galaxy.

Praxton watches Reibelle leave, then looks to Raven. Taking the moment, a patient speaker as he was, "My brother didn't know Reibelle that well. She knew him through me, as he was my brother. I was never close with the woman myself but we had-" he hesitates- "a.. the woman we spoke about from my past, the one I spoke with you about. Reibelle and her were close in their time, two warriors fighting for the cause. Reibelle's faith was shaken when she died just as mine was."

Raven placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder as they walked, keeping a calm pace. "I understand." There was a calm to her as she spoke, finding it easier to be the one offering him her reassurances and strength.

This part of his past, it was never one she pressed to speak of. Instead letting him take his time to choose when he wished to open up about it. "... I think Varina might have wanted to know though. When she first came to the enclave. It's..." she looked off to the distance for a moment, before the visor returned back to him. "... Well, what's done is done."

"I did not get much of a chance to speak with Varina, but I did not know Reibelle had a daughter. They.. look familiar, now that I picture it but it was not something I had realized or considered until," he glances in the direction Reibelle went, "now."

Looking back to Raven he gave a nod, in place of a smile, "What is next then?"

Maybe Varina hadn't mentioned her parents' name when she spoke to Mand'alor. Leaving out something like that did seem like something that delinquent teenager would've done.

"They're both prickly ones, I'll agree on that," she chuckled, patting his shoulder before returning her hand to her side. "Return to the safehouse, inform the others of tomorrow. After the battle tomorrow..." Raven held her breath for a moment before releasing a slow sigh, her hands holding on the belt that secured her hunting kama. Something about the posture seemed to lend well to the role of a leader she'd been taking on. With its ups and downs. Her opinion weighing far more on the downs.

"I will have to talk to Reibelle about the cache. With the spoils of the battle to consider, and Carid dead, I'm thinking it might be easier to speak of it... negotiate, I suppose." There was some uncertainity to the word. Negotiation wasn't something she had experience with, and it certainly wasn't something she had done much with other Mandalorians. But well, here she was. It was her mission.

"A successful raid would put her in a good mood to be open about it, I think," he says, there's that warmth making it's way into his tone as he looks to her for a moment. Placing his hand on one of her shoulders as he looks to her, "When dealing with her.. perhaps you might have some insights from your friend, Varina. For what I know, Reibelle is not a woman who will lie to you. Refuse to speak with you about something, sure," he shakes his head, "but deception has never been her way. Too.. harsh a woman for it," he chuckles.

Moving from her shoulder he places his hand against her helms cheek, "I will return and inform the others as you request, riduur," a nod."

Raven wasn't sure if Varina would be much help, if any, but it wouldn't hurt to try to speak with the surly teen. "I'll see what she might have to say about it."

The hand on her helmet's cheek, it was an oddly tender moment. Even more so when he spoke like he was following her command. "Riduur..." her chuckle was soft, almost imperceptible through the helmet. Stepping closer to him and letting her hand touch his arm, her helmet touched against his. "You're following my command here too?" There was a shared playfulness to her tone, making the words have a double-meaning between them.

But besides that, he was her senior in both command and deeds... that he had chosen to accompany them, she hadn't been sure if it meant they'd be following him this time. Commanding her first mission with him for support though, that was something that put her at ease.

[Praxton]

"It is your command, I wouldn't take it from you. That is what Dredgen told me at least," he says, the tone betrays the smile underneath the helmet as he rests his hand back down on her shoulder and gives it a soft pat against the pauldron. "I am here should you need me and in whatever capacity to do. It's strange.. being on the sidelines, but with you at the front I worry less," he chuckles briefly, and then glances around a little.

"We should go though," he says.

"You know as well as I do that Dredgen would let pretty much anyone else take command as long as it meant he didn't have to have the responsibility," she said with a laugh, bumping her helmet against his lightly in that armored kiss Mandalorians had, before giving enough distance for them to walk side by side. "But thank you, for your support and your faith in my abilities."

It did restore some of her confidence in doing this, as the rift between her and Dex had shaken her core.

"But yes. Let's walk. Along the way, you can tell me about that book you've been reading." Completely innocent excuse to hear about it, so she knew what to look for in the future... and to make sure he wouldn't think there was anything plotting underneath that helmet of hers, she added in a light but playful slap to his butt. Then picked up her pace.

Praxton chuckles at the comment on Dredgen, nodding, laughing with the bump. Letting his hand guide it's way down along her arm in an affectionate matter before giving her another nod, he would tell her all about the book as they walked.
