Vode An [Day 9, Late Evening, Combat]

[Meiyokashi]

"That'll be good enough," she says giving Varina an appreciative nod as she slips into the room behind Carid and outs a hand on his shoulder. While Carid was still limping it seemed his own team was ready to go.

With the door shutting behind them between the Enclave group and Carid's they could all hear the fighting start on the other side immediately mixed in with the initial blast of the door blowing out.

Notably, Varina would notice her leg starts working properly again with the next step she tries to take.

[Raven Cadera]

"I think that's our cue to continue onward, and rendezvous with Valkyrie and her team."

Hopefully most of the stormtroopers between them should be dead, judging by the work of Carid and his group. She gave a couple of tries to find a good way to hold her carbine with both arms, and then just decided to put it away and go with the pistol instead. Arm was too busted to be any good.

She just knew Dredgen was going to ask why it was her right arm that kept getting that seriously injured.

[Meiyokashi]

They would be able to do so with relative ease- but not unhampered in their progress. Wounded as they were, the group was still comprised of some deadly individuals. Where multiple squads of Stormtroopers gave them trouble before the odd one out or pairs they found along the way were no match to the swiftness of their blades or blasters. Eventually they came across the room where the Valkyrie and her people were finishing off the last of a few troopers.

At the center of the room the Valkyrie shoots an officer wearing black in the knee, causing him to fall to the other, shoots him once more in the shoulder, he grabs it in pain, finally finishing him off with a blast in the top of the head and the body falls.

Panting, Rezzie's waving off one of the others as they check on her in the background.

[Reibelle Ordo]

Looking among the group as they approach the Valkyrie puts her pistol away, "Is it done?"

[Raven Cadera]

Raven had had time to think about it. What she would eventually say when face to face with Reibelle. She could just say it was over, leave it at that, but somehow that felt like... skirting the truth. Reibelle, and the others too, deserved to know what had happened.

It didn't matter what the consequences were. She'd remain true to her word given... something that this hunt had almost made her forget along the way. "... He cut me off from my team, challenged me to single-combat to settle it between us. I gave my word it would be over with the outcome of the fight, that there would be no further bloodshed between his people and mine."

Strangely enough, she didn't feel nervous speaking. It was a calm, delivering the truth, staying with the path of honor she knew Praxton would have. Her parents would have too. "He won, but he saved my life instead of killing me when I was out cold and at his mercy. I consider the matter done now."

[Varina Ordo]

Her mom executing a helpless man didn't come as a surprise. Regardless, she still felt a little sick to her stomach.

Varina glanced between her mother and her dearest friend. If there was a Force, she hoped it'd be kind enough for this to end without her having to choose a side. Is that even how the Force works?

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene walked along to join the others when they met with the other raiders. She was expecting that there would have been even more resistance once they were united again but she was thankful for the rest at least. After putting away her sword, she gave looked at Raven as she got a little more of the story. The circumstances were odd, especially when they had killed some of Carid's people...but the math checks out. She still couldn't shake the funny feeling from this. However, perhaps the best judge regarding this would be with the other Raiders.

She turned to look at the others. "So...is it over for everyone then?"

[Reibelle Ordo]

Hearing the news the mask of the Valkyrie was emotionless but the hand not holding a blaster at her side was clenched tight. A heavy breath she looks over the helms here and sighs, "We're taking the ship. Get everything valuable ready to be loaded up and contact the others, let them know to let Carid go," she said, barely restrained anger in her voice.

Glancing to Soleene, "Just got a few more imps to clean up, and a cargo-bay to rob."

"Good as over," one of the others they didn't know said as they walk up to the Valkyrie's side. Giving her a nod before walking off with the other of her people they haven't been introduced to down a separate hall neither of the two teams ventured down.

[Rezzie]

"Wait.." Rezzie pops off a crate from where she was getting a wound checked out by one of her fellows. Walking over toward the group, "You.. you saw them, yea?" she asks, looking between the helms.

"Like- all of them right, not just Carid?"

[Varina Ordo]

Letting Carid go... her mother was confusing.

"I don't think we killed any Mandalorians ourselves," Varina said. She glanced to Raven for her little scuffle. "Though that reminds me: there was some togruta who wanted me to send her regards. Don't know what that was about but she singled me out as a herald."

[Raven Cadera]

She exchanged a nod to Reibelle, thankful that it seemed to put the matter to rest. Not that her word had said anything about the Raiders still wanting revenge, but she considered that their internal business now, and not hers or the Rebuilders to deal with.

The Rebuilders were done with the matter now. Though what Mand'alor would say, she had no idea.

"There were only two with Carid when I fought him," Raven added in to clarify to Rezzie, "I don't know if there were any others nearby, or how many more there might've been."

Soon, once they were done with clearing the ship and helping Reibelle get her loot, this would be over.

[Rezzie]

"Ari," she says the name with a little nod, her tone soft with that mini-spark of happy. Looking to Reibelle who seems unmoved by it she focuses back on Varina and steps forward. Giving her a pat on the shoulder, "Thanks," she says, a small laugh before putting her hands on her side by her pistols.

"So.. guess we go finish fighting some imps?" she says, looking between the bloodied mess that the group was. Looking to Raven when she elaborated, "No, yea. Only expected two," she said, a touch sheepish. "I was there when the rest were killed, remember? Killed a couple myself.." she said, tone a little more neutral, heavy.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven nodded, catching the tone. Though that fight had seemed... different. She suspected a part of it had affected Carid's own thoughts when facing her, and why he had acted the way he did.

"Let's go finish some Imps, yeah." She was still good enough to shoot some more. Bloodied and messed up as she was.

[Claymore Wren]

"I fight by Raven's side now, but how the hell is she at, Valkyrie? Where is Bo-Katan... Where?" Clay is full of rage right now. "I know you recognize Death Watch armor, when you see it... I'm sure you recognized it the fight day you saw mine. I may not wear the crest anymore, instead wearing Clan Wren. I'm not interested in a fight, but this blood wouldn't have spilled if she was here, or anywhere. She could have stopped all of this nonsense."

[Raven Cadera]

Ah kriff.

Raven stepped up, standing between Clay and the Raiders. "That's enough. Take it up outside the battlefield, vod." While she didn't raise her voice, there was a strong sense of command behind the words.

[Reibelle Ordo]

The Valkyrie watches passively, for the moment, as Raven stepped in.

[Claymore Wren]

"Whatever. Fine, I'll go watch the Stormtoppers killing Carid's cowards on their way down..." He stormed out the the door and activated his camo system and hoped the Stormtroopers killed a few more of Carid's men.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven sighed, placing a hand on her hip as she shook her head. Of course things couldn't go smoothly at the end. She just wanted to complete this mission now.

"Right, let's carry on, sisters. Let him cool and get over his emotional state." At least Soleene was reliable that way to keep her cool. And Varina so far had been the same lately.

[Meiyokashi]

Between the combined might of those still present, it would only be a matter of time for the remaining stormtroopers to fall and the Raiders to claim the loot, their price for what otherwise was a complete waste of their time and effort.

[Claymore Wren]

A long ways away, and barely heard, "I skrogging know Valkyrie was one of her lieutenants, so she knows when Bo-Katan..." A moment of silence. "Oh, homing beacons!!"
