It'd been hell of a ride; Qar needed it after the interstellar transit immobility. Having shopped for the necessary items, he was more or less ready for the planet's wilderness. The crater in the distance had been drawing his attention for quite some time already. Once he arrived at the foot of it, he hid his bike in the bushes for quick escape and started a quiet climb...

As he climbs there is a strange serenity to this place, a quiet calm which is overwhelming. Pushing forward he found himself a hand-hold on one of the rocks just as the next hold in the chain was blasted apart by a well-aimed blaster bolt. The surprise of it sending him clattering backwards along the crater-side until he came rolling down by his bike once more.

All around him there was the silence of the crater and wherever the blaster shot came from the shooter was nowhere to be seen.

Okay, so whatever was in the crater, it was guarded, and attentively so. Now that that whoever was aware of his presence, there was no point in reattempting anything. He got on his bike and was ready to go. Before he started the engine, however, he wanted to know whether he was being pursued.

It looked like blue eyes saw something.

While he watched for the quick moment to see if he was being pursued he was able to be reasonably certain that no one was taking to following him. Whoever it was that shot seemed to have gotten all they wanted out of the ordeal and were content enough to let him go.

Nothing said 'private property' better than a gunshot of that kind. Qar shrugged; there was a mystery here but apparently it was neither the day nor was he the man to solve it. A bit disappointed, he mounted the Dart and darted out of there, back to the city. Enough of braving the hostile environment for now.
