Here Comes The Bride... (D5, EA)

(Must gather your party before venturing forth. Giving the Mando crew a chance to decide if they want to tag along. Approach will be openly)
Meeting the Raiders at their own base...
Even expected, it was kind of nervewrecking. But for Raven it was a matter of honor - they had given the option, and she intended to show that she was not like Carid. The Raiders had been invited into the Rebuilders' home and had broken the rules of hospitality - she would not return that favor.
Her helmet turned to look to the others, especially Dex.

Soleene was also part of the Mandalorian enclave gathering. She was here to provide some backup, as well as see what this mystery crater was all about.

Claymore walked up check all of his gear and weapons. "You sure this is how you want to do this? Either way, I'm ride or die by your side, Raven"
Clay thought about he's better fortified his armor recently. He's got his tool kit and slicing gear to break into the base.

"It's about time they've agreed to see us," Varina said, crossing her arms. "They've delayed us long enough."

Joining the group were a couple familiar faces. Dredgen, of course, found himself a nice rock to sit on while he waited and took his measure of everyone's preparedness. With Dex arriving with what appeared by the armor he wore to be a Salky Raider. While the Raider held back Dex walked over toward Raven, helmet worn but the nervousness seemed to just barely touch into her voice.
"'lright, so, we're doing this- nice," she chuckled, distracting herself slightly. Glancing around at the others who'd come as well. "Silas wanted to come, to help if he can."

"This is the right way to do it," she responded to Clay, masking her own insecurities of whether or not this was a good idea. When all else fails, trust in honor to guide the way.
That she could tell Dex was nervous... in an odd way it put her at ease in that she found it nescessary to quell her own emotions. "I'm sure his presence will help. The Raiders will see that he is unharmed, and he is a voice they know."
Raven's shoulders rose slightly following a deep inhalation. "Alright. Let's do this. Let's meet the Salky Raiders." This time the path to the crater would be easier at least, with much less brambles.

With a few nods, the group set out together toward the crater proper. Following along a path which seemed carved out of the rock itself. The group, flanked on one side by a large rockface which lead them nearly all the way toward the rim of the crater. A sight which began the first, a warrior wearing the Raider armor raised from among the crevices in the rockface and showed themselves, looking down on the group as they passed. Further along another warrior rose, and then another, as they got closer they began to appear on the opposite side as well.
By the time they reached the climb they were flanked by a few less than ten of the warriors, few taking on somewhat threatening poses but never reaching for a weapon. Committing to the climb they were watched all the way toward the top. Halfway they would notice another two warriors, flanking either side of the group, as they waited to receive them at the very crest of the rim. As the group passed the warriors did not speak but urged them forward.
Now within the crater the group was guided down into the camp where they were lead toward a small clearing. One of the warriors, a woman, approaches and informs them to wait here.

"Thank you," Raven, being technically the leader of this outing, responded to the woman. Her helmeted head bobbing in confirmation once. They had come this far...
Patience. Behind her visor, she closed her eyes for a few moments as she crossed her arms, adopting a somewhat relaxed stance while the waited. The threatening poses of the others, it did not bother her. She understood that they were outsiders here in this territory, and the Raiders were making it very clear that they would defend their own without the need for words to do so.
It was easy to appear calm and confident when they couldn't see your face.

Varina kept her hands folded, behind her head. While away from most of her weapons, she still had one knife up her sleeve. But that wasn't really the point; they weren't in the best spot if negotiations suddenly went hostile. If this was the place they'd die, then hopefully that damn Enclave would deepen this crater more.
But even with that nonchalant thought on death and betrayal, she was still obviously uneasy. Her mother being among this group... it'd been an obvious place to look but one she'd thus far avoided. Finding her with a group, any group, to replace her...

After some wait a warrior approached, a cape hanging off the side of her armor and billowing in the breeze which swept through the inner crater. Wearing armor that was instantly recognizable to some, the armor of the Nite Owls. However, it was worn down with time and repainted plenty. On the chest-plate former coats of various different colors, blues, and yellows, were all poking through where the outer layer of black had worn down. As she stepped through a few warriors parted from her path.
"So- you've come to talk. Thought you'd be here weeks ago," she spoke, a harshness to her tone which was more familiar to some than others. Scanning across the group the woman took everyone's measure but lingered further on two, Raven and Varina.
Looking from Varina to Raven she focused in, "You're their leader then?"

Her arms uncrossed, lowering in a smooth motion to her sides in a way that made it clear she was not reaching for any weapons, as the woman approached. In return, Raven took a step forward to meet her.
"I take responsibility of being cautious, given the circumstances," it wasn't an apology or excuse, merely explanation of why they hadn't come running here right away. Her tone was even and calm, and her Concordian accent obvious.
"Raven Cadera. Leader of this little group here, yes." In theory, by Mand'alor's orders, it was Dredgen. But in practice, it had been her. "I take it you are the one known as Valkyrie?"

The question burned in her mind but Varina didn't want to be so obvious. She approached Raven and leaned in to confer with her. "Get her to remove her helmet. Remove yours too, that'll make it more likely she'll comply."

Bringing her hands to the side of her helmet she hesitated when Varina approached, but seeing her lean in to speak to Raven she continued. Removing the helmet and holding it off to the side, "I am Reibelle Ordo, known to many as the Valkyrie. Warriors here listen to my advice but no one answers to me. So far- I've advised that we should keep to caution and talk first, cause we don't need any more lives lost over this."
She looked to Raven as she spoke but her gaze shifted to Varina, though she said nothing of it.

Soleene looked back at the watchers impassively. They had a right to be suspicious and wary, likewise with the Mandalorians who staked claim to this crater. However, she was pretty confident that they would make their intent here clear and there would be no need for this posturing by the end of the meeting. She wasn't worried and maintained her stoic demeanour.

Raven hadn't planned on removing her helmet so soon when Varina asked for it. But, seeing Valkyire... no, Reibelle Ordo(?!)... remove hers, the younger woman followed suit, carefully undoing clasps and returning the favor of trust. Her black hair, while stilled floofed a little from removing the helmet, had been given more attention today to not come out as messy as it often did. It didn't give a good impression to fellow Mandalorians that she was some besom.
"It seems we have that in common then." Wasn't that the name of Varina's mother...? Now that she looked, there was a family resemblance.
"One of the members of the Salky Raiders, the one known as Carid, who accepted our invitation to Mand'alor's enclave along with others, attacked my husband on our wedding day. I have no ill will towards you or the Raiders who had no part in his actions - this can be attested to. Honor demand that I bring him to justice for what he's done." Even without her helmet on, Raven kept a stoic face, clearly set in her determination of following the path of honor before her.
"If possible, I want to avoid that this draws both of us into conflict, and we can focus on the intention of why our enclave welcomed fellow Mando'ade. To unite forces."

Well, there was a time for diplomacy and even Varina knew that. Maybe this conversation would have gone better if she'd found her mother before weeks had passed. But now, she was far past her teenage levels of patience. "Who would listen to you, huh?" she spat out before stepping past Raven. "You're a... you're just a dumb, stupid person! What in the kriff are you doing here?!"
She ran forward, ready to do the most awesome physical thing she'd ever done: drop kick her mom and then pin her on the ground. Surely a great idea against her mother who'd ran off to fight much more...

Clay knew the situations was tense, but he was use to near death experiences. He was more interesting in a appearance Night Owl. They had been in Death Watch as he had been. He was leaning on a boulder, hopely there won't be any shooting now that a Night Owl is here.

Fuck!
Raven didn't expect this to happen, but she was quick on her feet to react as Varina clearly moved with hostile intentions.
