[D6 MM] My Eyes Led Me Here . . .

[Sholua Tempes]

To be honest, she hadn't expected this in a farmhouse. The crop here must be everything the rumours said it was. She sat as bidden.

"A skilled carpenter."

Then the box was brought out and the woman spoke as if she knew.

"I have had reason to be . . ."

[Meiyokashi]

"Few with eyes like yours haven't," she gives that same sorrowful smile. "What things you must have been forced to see.. it pains my heart," she sighs. Tapping her fingers atop the lockbox it seems to call her back from her brief reverie. Almost practiced in her movement she's slow and deliberate, showing that calmness to her as she steps closer. "It reminds me of my father when he returned to us. Such a beautiful man... but troubled, very troubled by the pain that followed him."

"He was with us for a little while.. not long, by the end, but in that time he told me one important thing. That one day.. I would know when the time was right," she indicated the box with a smile.

Parts of the vision came back to her. Years of solitude, other than the white companion, and then the oh so brief ending.

"You were the one to lay the flower on him at the end, weren't you?"

[Meiyokashi]

Smiling brightly, a quick and brief tear coming to her eye she nods her head. "I was," she smiled walking closer she sat in the other arm chair, near enough that their knees weren't far apart.

"He spent many years in the badlands alone.. afraid of what his coming close might do. For so many years it was the order that kept him away- and then it was the Empire," she glances down, remembering that pain. Looking back she renews her smile with ease in seeing Sholua here. "I am glad that you aren't alone, dear. That you have your friends here... there are few greater pains than being forced into seclusion like that. Out in the galaxy alone, feeling like prey," she breaks from that, smiling again in the interim.

Reaching out with her hand, shifting the box into the other, she said, "My father was alone for many years with his fear and it changed him, like all the pain before it had as well, but.. even after so many years he still found peace here. There's always hope to find peace again when you look to those closest to you."

[Sholua Tempes]

"I was in the city. Ten years . . . thousands of people around me . . . but yes, I was alone. Never staying in one place for long. Always looking over my shoulder."

She looked over her shoulder at the other two.

"Now I think I've found a better place, a better way. And it's more than just those two."

[Meiyokashi]

"My father always said I would know when the time was right.." she smiles, "I laughed when he said that at first. But now? Years later I know exactly what he meant when I saw you outside. It was like I'd always known somehow.." she shook her head, perhaps feeling her words were making little sense.

Handing over the box she looks to Sholua with warmth, "Please, take this. From what I understand it is something that should help you."

[Sholua Tempes]

"The Force binds us all together. It knows the way."

She took the box carefully, just holding it for now.

"I am Sholua, may I ask your name, and that of your father?"

[Meiyokashi]

"Kita Carsen, my father was Jacolm Carsen- a Jedi.. I do not know more about his position in the Order but when he first came here I know he was a knight serving the people. Also an outsider, one whom had a master that was very curious about our swamp but he-" she smiled, shaking her head- "he was more interested in my mother."

[Sholua Tempes]

"The swamp . . . a dark place. It calls to all who can feel the Force. I . . "

She looked at Cartess and Kira before continuing.

"I was a padawan, an apprentice. Part of the Republic army that lib. . . . no not liberated, that invaded this world during the War. Now . . now I stop running and hiding and will do something about what is wrong here."

She held the box, still unopened yet she knew what was inside anyway.

"This will help."

[Meiyokashi]

"He always said it would," she smiles, giving her a little nod. Rising from her seat she gave a look around the room, like she was feeling a presence. With that warm smile she touches her hand to her chest. Looking back to Sholua, "Come, let's go join your friends for tea, hmm?"

/fade to tea and companionship?

[Sholua Tempes]

"Yes, lets."

She tucked the box away and followed into the other room with very little of her usual swagger.
