[Day 1 - Late Afternoon] The Locals

[Soleene Stryss]

"Oh okay, so like a relative 'kid' than a kid," she said with a nod of her head. "There's a lot of stories around the galaxies about people turning into seniors long before they reach that age. I bet she has a story to tell, probably. It would be neat to see what she's about if she's the foundation of it all. Standing up to the Empire is not something people do on the weekends to have fun."

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis nodded "raised right, resources, reputation. A lot of privilege she's using to help. Natural leader I think."

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene let out an impressed whistle. "That's a lot of credentials. Not a politician or a military officer but that is the next best thing. It can be hard to find people like that in the galaxy, especially when people are worried about either an ineffective leader or someone looking to take advantage of them."

[Deonis Harik]

"Wouldn't be here if she didn't have potiential." He said "you have a story? Why do you fight the Empire?"

[Soleene Stryss]

"Me, I don't really have much of a story to tell," she said as a slight fib. It wasn't much of a story compared to what was happening around here at least.

"As to why we fight the Empire, that is due to the leadership of Mandalore. I suppose we've been rather removed from the conflict for a while and we need to make things right, especially considering that the Empire has taken much from us in recent history. We can't sit idly by while they do what they want, even if they have some Mandalorians at their side. If we can do good while reclaiming what is ours and making things right, all the better. Our goals just happen to overlap in more ways than one."

[Nimbo Toda]

Nimbo simply listens, learning more about the Soleene and Deonis. Having a better insight into the motivations of people certainly helped him understand why they did the things they did.
