Deonis had sent Tyllia instructions on how to get to his place and asked she pick up food on her way and he'd pay her back later.

The dwelling was small but tidy with military precision. The bed while not new and obviously too small for his large frame was made with exact corners and there was no clutter just a chair, table, the crate, the bed, and a door on the left the whole thing maybe 15 feet by 15 feet.

He sat on the durasteel crate leaning against the wall while he waited.

Tyllia was no delivery girl; but she also needed to eat, and if she was going that way anyway, she might as well bring over some. She was prompt; relatively speaking, waiting times at the take-out place were apparently not that long today. Upon being offered entry into the residence, she would place the food down on the table.

It could've been missed; but around her neck hung a new piece of jewelry; the tooth she had taken as a trophy from the Rathar having become the center-piece of a really quite intricately designed amulet. One that might feel a little 'off' to Deonis, somehow. Or not. Or maybe that was just Tyllia's presence herself...

...it was not hard for one such as himself to make the observation that she was now much more firmly tied to the Dark Side of the Force than she had previously been. She might've even started to show subtle physical signs; darker rings around her eyes, a slightly different coloration of the eyes, though some of those could just be the result of lack of sleep, or tricks of the light, perhaps.

Deonis opened the door with a facial wrap on that obscured all his features except unearthly glowing yellow eyes. Besides that he wore the same tight fitting sleeveless black shirt she saw in the swamp and black pants with no shoes. Red feet padded softly on the ferrocrete floor. He motioned to the chair "please Tyllia have a seat if you like." He said as he himself sat back on the box after retrieving food. Undoing the face covering and sitting it next to him.

He took a bite, enjoying the food for a moment before looking to her "how are you?" He seemed calmer than when they first met, the aura of violence and fear were certainly still around him but lessened a bit.

"Still me, if that's what you're wondering."

Though she didn't seem agitated in any obvious manner, at least not in any physical sense, her own state was still clearly the reverse of his.

She looked between him and the chair a few times, before finally deciding that yes, she might as well sit after all. She grabbed her own food first though, before plopping herself down.

"You seem... different. Lighter. Did you switch to a new shampoo?"

He chuckled, the smile revealing sharp pointed teeth "don't think I've ever used shampoo." But when the laughter faded he shrugged taking another bite "since I cast out the Wraith I have felt much more calm. Finally got a kriffing good nights rest to. Well one at least."

"Good news bad news situation. Good news I got this." he got up and unlocked the crate withdrawing a large black metal cylinder almost twice as long as hers. "I don't know how to really use it but hopefully I can practice."

He sat back down placing the Saber next to himself on the crate "bad news is we have inquisitors. Two. Twelfth sister and another."

She looked at the lightsaber he produced while listening; seeming almost absent-minded; as he spoke of inquisitors.

"Yes, there was some sort of commotion at the Rebyk, I thought it might be something like that. But they did not seem to be looking for me. So, if they are not looking for you either, then they are not a problem, right?"

"One came here. The commotion at the Rybek is why I know there are two. Twelfth sister stole this from me." He said patting the Saber "and came here to give it back. To mock me. To let me know she knew I was here. Apparently they were also hunting another run away inquisitor who was staying at the hotel is my guess. So they will come for me. The inquisition does not forgive treason."

She gritted her teeth. If they had known where to find Deonis, did that mean they knew about *her* as well? Had they been observing him? This could prove be to a bigger deal than she'd hoped it'd be.

"How much do they know?"

Deonis shook his head "you think they'd tell me that? Came here to gloat and intimidate. Likes to play with her food." He took a deep breath "but they are very good. If they know about me, they likely know about you. I do not think they are here for us. For now."

"I am not quite as noticeable as you are," she said, "but it's possible. Either way, the best thing would be to cause them to move on somehow. If they were to be killed here, it would only endanger this little rebellion. Inquisitors dying anywhere has a habit of focusing imperial attention to that place."

Dwonis frowned slightly "You've never met an inquisitor have you? They are fanatics, relentless. They don't move on until their target is dead or captured. Money won't deter them, we can't scare them away. How do you propose we get them to just 'move along'?"

"I've met them," she said with a dismissive wave. "They are formidable, but they can be tricked. Although, if there are two of them, maybe not. Ideally we would first learn what they're really after, here. Then make them think said thing is no longer here."

Deonis thought for a moment "Well, I believe they already confronted their target at the hotel. That's what the fight was about there as far as I can tell. If they believe that target is unreachable then they will likely shift to me and possibly you. Vader doesn't tolerate failure."

"I don't suppose you know who that target was then? Guessing from the Imperial presence there this morning, they clearly didn't succeed."

He shook his head "Only that it was a male. Didn't get anything other than that."

"Hmm... well, that leaves out the two Jedi I met yesterday. Or, former Jedi anyway."

Deonis gave her a look for a bit "just be careful ok? You may not be their main target but if Vader wants you dead and they see you they won't hesitate to gain some favor." Some genuine concern came through his voice, which was much smoother and rich without the modulation of the helmet, and the look he gave her.

"Vader has wanted me dead for a long time," she said, "Longer even than he's wanted to kill you. But don't worry, I do not intend to delude myself into thinking I'm safe just because I've avoided them thus far. I know fortunes can turn in an instant."

She poked at some more of the food she'd brought.

"I've been having some interesting talks with the spirit. It has forgotten a great deal about itself, and it's making some things... difficult. But it still possesses a wealth of knowledge. I am learning quite a bit about history from it."

"Oh? Anything useful?" Talking of the spirit always makes Deonis uncomfortable, reminding him of the fight inside his own mind. Even if he knew it wasn't really her it taking her shape unsettled him.

"I must still listen for more before deciding that. It has many stories, but they are still a jumble; making sense of them all will take some time. It is eager to be listened to, I think."

It soothed its ego in a sense. Elders often enjoyed telling stories to the young and inexperienced. There was genuine value in such things of course, but it also allowed them to cling to relevance; which was perhaps the real reason why they kept doing it. And the spirit... it was older than any elder, and it had been irrelevant for a long time.
