FX-12's servos were running quietly, but the occasional displacement of gravel still announced its presence for the clever and prepared. It waited, crouching, for its fellow sapients to arrive.

One of said sapaients comes from the city borders, looking less rusty for sure. Maybe it's because it wasn't cooped up in a giant dustbin these freedom fighters call a base.

Another day, another expedition. Richo was very curious to explore this place further after the previous day's oddities but this time he had far more difficulty moving around and out of sight.

At the very least he found an obaservation spot where he could snipe troublemakers

The mandalorian kept watch on the ruins in case the gonks would come around again while the search was on going. This place had known the clone wars and while he suspected the clones where long gone...he was'nt so sure for the droids.

These buggers could prove resilient...he knew that first hand

FX-12's ability to function was severely hampered by the fact that it didn't have the programming to really understand what it was looking for. But it booped back over the coms in the negative to keep J-Richo up to date.

This unit has seen little to assist the biological sapients thus far, --TOBOGA--. This unit has not been shot yet. This unit is pleased with the situation so far.

From afar, another droid was looking around. Not really searching for anthing concrete as now, but rather exploring the surroundings of its 'base of operations' in a ruined building in the nearby.

The commando droid was careful though since, organic creatures that called themselves gonks, patrolled these regions.

While the lot of you are moving about the area. You once again do not take into account the potential dangers found within. And, with a few moments the sounds of another patrol in the area begin to make itself known.

Fortunately, the Scat droid manages to find a small place to hide as they approach. The others are not fortunate.

SCaT does not have a long range weapon. So it will proceed to sneak around to a proper position. Slow and steady to position it goes. (Do I need to roll stealth again?)

FX-12's lack of true quiet did not mean it was entirely without resources. Its sensors were picking up a disturbance in the area.

It crouched, and the chest-panel began to open, the barrel of the blaster rifle just peeking through...

The Gonks finally arrived, and, yet again, you are left in a position where nothing much else can be done. You had barely a moment to prepare for anything that was about to happen when they happened across you. Another 5 Gonks, in their usual armor and gear, prepare to strike upon the intruders. Without saying much, they quickly pull out their rifles at the site of you all and begin to make haste to prepare to assault you.

4 of the 5 immediately drop dead from the explosion. The lone survivor, seeing what has happened, immediately reaches into his satchel and pulls out a smaller sized gun.

Aiming it towards the sky, he fires and a red beam shoots out from it, brightening the area you are in in a red glaze.

FX-12's chest panel slid fully open, and its custom blaster rifle gantry extended its precious cargo toward the gonk. The tube glistened in the light of the flare.

This unit regrets your aggression, it beeped before blasting the disoriented gonk to inky unconsciousness.

The last Gonk falls on the ground, unconscious, and, as quickly as it began, it ended. There is still the matter of the bright red signal in there air, but for now, you seem to be okay. No sounds coming from anywhere. No signs of attack heading your way.

Just a single flare in the air.
