Making their way through the group focus' on getting toward the maintenance closet where they heard there was a breakage in the wall. Walking through the halls there were few who seemed to pay attention to them along the way, but who knew how long that would work for.

(We wait until they're close by. Then we go in. If someone stops us while we're in the office we say, "Well someone was supposed to meet us. But we figured why wait?" Then when they come in and vouch for us. Boom! Proof.)

(Probably explore, check out the security, scout out ways of sneaking out the prisoner(s). Is there a map of our objectives? Even better is there a computer that the droid can hack into?)

Moving through the halls they keep their heads down, quickly moving to the more service areas as soon as they can. Eventually, making their way into a small eatery they pass by forty, fifty, maybe even sixty stormtroopers with their helmets off immediately to their sides. All of them within the room eating their meals and talking about their days.

Passing by the far side of the room the team works their way into the kitchen, giving a nod, and then into the maintenance room they were told about. When inside they found the closet and the warning pylons but those were easy enough to move out of the way.

A quick look up or down and they could manage either way, theoretically, but without climbing gear they likely wouldn't be able to climb without some serious acrobatics.

What they knew is their ultimate target, the labs, were down a level or two and the office was up waaay near the top. Of course, there are plenty of other rooms higher up for important officials and the like.

Torr looks up and then at the others. "I could probably scale it." He checks again, thinks about it, then nods. "Yeah probably. But do either of you have a rope, harnesses?" (What's the check? Athletics vs Daunting?)

Manny pulled out his ascension gun. "I've got this. But it's not really a two at a time sort of thing. And it's more of an up than a down. But I bet it could manage down alright, just so long as it's not, like, straight down."

"I've got my own ascension gun and I figured we might need to do some heavy lifting and climbing regardless, so I went ahead and bought one of these." SCaT then pulls out a pack with a repulsor unit and a grapple hook attachment. "Figured we might be able to carry some big stuff out if we needed to."

(Note: This is a repulsor assist unit, it reduces difficulty to climb by 2 or encumbrance of cargo by 7.)

Manny nodded. "Okay! Let's go up!" He pulled out his ascension gun and peered up into the darkness, slipping on his scanner goggles to help.

Looking inside the shaft he can see where this one ends and then darts off at a 90 degree back toward the edge of the building. However, on the opposite side from that edge there appears to be a smallish tunnel that might be able to fit a crouched being. Aiming his gun up there he could probably latch onto something and climb in, but where it lead was certainly a mystery.

[Ascension can use it's base difficulty with a Challenge Dice as the target is at the far end of Medium.]

(Infrabinoculars (Long ranged) to try to see what's on the other side? It can see through up to 2 meters of wall, adds a setback if the walls are thick, page 48 of endless vigil)

Through the infra-vision the only thing as far as an added heat source are the thin lines that seem to run the length of some kind of tunnel. Seemed to be wires for some of the connected machinery of the place, and this was definitely not a tunnel normally supposed to be accessed by your average being as the base heat levels varied significantly.

"Seems like these are exhaust vents. I would advise caution as we go through and to wear a thermal cloak now."

When the ascension gun came back down there was a little torn wire attached to it. As it was retrieved the wire fell deep down into the whole way below.

Meanwhile in some other space...

Alder Divo is leaning against the back wall of the elevator. Speaking on his commlink, "I want a couple people down to the security deck and the labs below. Give me a sweep just to be safe there's.. something-" the lights go out in the elevator and the warning flash comes on within as the elevators system stop dead and lock in place as a precautionary measure between two floors.

"Strange is going on.." he says, walking forward and getting the door open only to find bare wall in front of him. "Get people looking, now."

...

Unfortunately, there was no way to know what the wire coming loose might have done but as it was an Imperial building SCaT and the others would just have to hope that it did something good.

"Alright, with that wire disconnected, the next shot should connect better. I can pretend to be looking for a problem now, go now before they send real technicians."

Tens pulled his comlink out and dialed SCaT.

"Hey pal, any chance you're near a security terminal? Just had a brush with ISB and they're a suspicious bunch so... Might need a proactive shutdown of the alarm systems. Should be on your way judging my Mylar's map."

"Not by a terminal, but I'll let you know if I find anything."

Manny fired up his gun and was up without a problem. This was a stealth mission, so he only whispered "weeeeeeeeee" as he ascended.

Torr scoffed while watching Manny ascend, "Someone's having fun!" He whispers. Then he quietly groans looking again at the task before him. "Welp, this could either go really well, or not well at all." So he took SCaT's equipment and attempted the climb. For a second there it looked like he might succeed. Then he missed a hand hold and plummeted. WIth the help of the grappling hook he suspended his fall but not before taking some knocks.

His eyes were big as saucers but he adjusted and tried again. (Just roll?)

[Yea, you catch yourself before you fall and take -3 strain damage rather than the 1 wound. Advantage helps you not slide too far but same check as before.]

He dexterously scales the shaft and joins Manny up on the terrace. "Piece of cake," he whispers breathlessly
