Nara glanced down at her pamphlet from the tourism bureau: 'Consider visiting the Museum of Bellionas. It might be boring but there's a cool weapon section in the back and the view from the top is quite good.'

Taking the stairs up the building two at a time and whirring past the attendants Nara soon found herself going from exhibit to exhibit

There's a delicate snort--as delicate as a snort can really manage, anyway--from a few feet behind her. "Are they still using that "there's a cool weapon section" bit? I'm always amazed at how many people really do read the 'this is so awful, try some!' brochure and actually have to come look for themselves."

The youngish Bothan's dressed in a wine-red sundress, gold-tone chains dangling from one ear. "If you're willing to come here, you should check out the Cave. In contrast to the well dressed Bothan Nara was business armoured.

From another exhibit comes 2 droids, one a top of the line brand new service droid, the other a rather old looking b1 chassis. They both look like they belong in the museum, one as a guide, the other as a piece on display. They are speaking in binary as they approach the last displays, the weaponry.

"Hey now, who wouldn't want to see a cool weapon section in an ironic museum? It's just good marketing."

She notices the beeping of the droids, but they're as background as most of the patrons since droids are usually big cantina customers to push adverts on.

“Wreckpunk? That sounds absolutely perfect, it’s the most hopeful name I’ve heard in ages. And Ruin Eternal? That’s from a big ‘ole planet near the core, ‘Rexas’ or something. It’s had tonnes of great music groups. Shistavanenstein, the original Ruin, Shake. Just all the classics.”

“I found out about all of it when I left home. It was just like ‘wow! I can shoot people to this?’ I guess that makes me a real lover of culture.”

Nara turns to fist bump the speaker but then realises it’s a droid.
“Oh! Heya little guy! Are you like a museum tour droid? Do you know about the cool weapons exhibit?”

"Nope, I am just an old droid who's lived some of this history. Now if anyone asks, I don't know anything about these weapons. But that IG-227 was only really a problem for the GAR for the first couple of battles, after that they were obsolete technologies for the battles that were fought. "

About to describe the very little she knew of wreckpunk from a three day affair with a passing smuggler who left a cache of datapods behind (hopefully nothing important on them besides the music, because Dhel's copied other music over most everything else by now), Dhel pauses as the droid pops in. Which does save her from having to think of a good conversational seque to 'music I can shoot to,' honestly.

"Most of these are donated. There's little notes with the names of the donors. That's about all I know about them. I tend to come in here for the old-settlement clothes for costume ideas and to pass out advertising for clients." Speaking of which...

She holds one out to the droid. "You're welcome to come see the show. Middle city places don't tend to discriminate like the ones in this neighborhood."

It takes a look at the flyer to get an idea of the time. "Sadly I've got other engagements at that time today."

“Hey, you’re supposed to have a better excuse than that to get out of a social commitment. Believe me, I’ve spent ages practicing.”
Peering down at the pamphlet
“Oh wait, I’ve got other engagements at that time today. Oh man, I’d ditch them to hear you but I’m kinda hoping they’ll lead to a firefight.”
Nara looked bitterly disappointed
“But I’ll go tomorrow if you’re on again. Should I get some hard currency for tipping? I have this trick where I use an under slung grenade launcher to fire credits onto the stage of an act is good.”

"Understandable, are we allowed to do karaoke in binary or would it be wise for me to play Sabaac with the patrons?"

"Well, with a guaranteed audience, I guess I will be performing same time tomorrow! And tipping is highly encouraged...though there's a bucket at the front of the stage folks usually use..." With a shrug Dhel laughs, "I suppose launching them wouldn't be much worse aim than the drunks who can't hit the bucket though. It's kind of a variety of acts most nights since most anyone can use the stage. As long as they draw more people than they send out the door."

Her head tilts, thoughtful. "You know, I don't think we've ever had binary karaoke. Like I said, so long as it doesn't chase the folks buying drinks away..."

"Imps?...oh! Not as much of them, there, no. But mostly it's crazy dangerous 'cause of the Gonks. It's pretty 'anything goes' in their camps, but the rest is like, people just surviving and clinics and stuff." Dhel considers a minute. "Might even want to check in with one of the clinics there to have them point you in the right directions if you want the crazy dangerous parts of the Lower."

"Droids get panics? Can't you like...program them away? Not like non-mechanicals who are kind of stuck with what's in our heads, yeah?" It's obvious Dhel hasn't spent a ton of time around droids.
