So there was this luxury establishment, and then there was Qar. Seeing the front he thought about seeking back entrance. But he had to find a way inside.

It wasn't too long before he found himself flanked on either side. One moving forward while the other slipped a hand into his and placed herself on his arm. Ahead of him, wearing a suit as was her usual, Minn walked over toward the woman stationed to receive guests to the lounge. Meanwhile Iris leaned her chin against his shoulder and smiled up at him.
"I hope traveling here wasn't too rough darling?"

He smiled back catching her expression in the peripheral. "Just the usual bump on the road. Thank you for the man in the pit stop. Nice place you have here."

"You're certainly more strange for the travel," she laughs lightly, looking forward toward Minn ahead of them. "We didn't send a man and this isn't our place. Have an interesting day? Do tell me about it?" she asked with the slight curl to her tone that conveyed a smile.

"I have a feeling that the interesting part of the day has only just started." He replied in kind. "If you're owls like me, it can't be that strange."

"Well, let's hope this is just the fun beginning of a wonderful partnership," she says with a lightness to her tone as she claims a little more of his arm as her own. Glancing ahead Minn has finished speaking with the woman at the entrance and given them both a wave onward into the lounge itself.

"Hope is not something I usually bet on, but I can see how making an exception for you is appealing." Arm-holding was such a half-measure. He made it go around her waist, and gestured forth. "Shall we?"

As he made his move she measured him a moment but gave his arm pause by resting her hand on it when he tried to reach around her waist, making it impossible to pull back more without forcing through. Brushing down his arm with that hand she guided it back to where it was and happily reclaimed her place, "Lets," she said, glancing up with her faint smile.

Having misread the convention, he briefly raised both brows while taking a countermeasure of Iris when they eyes met, but in the end he was not averse to the rules being set by her, especially that he was new to this place. In a dance of messaging through non-verbal means it still told him something he hadn't known a moment earlier. He looked away from her, to the lounge, assessing the clientele just as they walked in. "The planet experiences some radical swings of daily temperature."

"It's a harsh place with a previously very proud people," she said as they walked forward. When they neared Minn she fell in step just behind the pair, hands rested in her pockets. Inside the clientele kept to hushed conversation all around. Some appeared to be nobles, some Imperial officers, and others merely rich corporate heads from any number of galactic business' and each of these different types of people intermingled with one another within the lounge.
Iris lead him toward a comfortable seat facing a loveseat across with a small table between them. Settling Qar off by the lone seat she moved around to the loveseat and was briefly joined by her sister. Each lounging in their own ways.
"So.." Iris gave with a small smile, "Business?"

"I suppose it's a rhetorical question. Drinks are probably rather expensive for protracted fun, and I see no-one dancing." He smirked wryly. "A friendly chat to know you better probably requires a different place as well. This one reeks business under a thin veneer of nonchalant carousing and I suppose it's not a coincidence we are meeting here."
He drummed his fingers on the table lightly. "Still, a nice spot."

"A spot that respects wealth and power," Minn comments as she re-affixes the glove on her right hand. Glancing over Qar for a moment before flagging down one of the employees available. Speaking softly with her as the woman bent down nearby.
Iris took attention again and smiled, "It is always important to keep your eyes on the prize, isn't it?" she crossed one leg over the other as she sat, risking the potential but maintaining herself well. "That is, after all, how you win a race. Which is very much along the lines of what we hope to have you do for us. A couple races, in fact."

"You've got my attention in more ways than one." They were both attractive and he could interested but signalling in a place like this was part of a convention and didn't encourage honest messages. So he focused on faces rather than legs, and on the matter at hand. "Unless you're being metaphorical, I imagine there's a local racing scene then."

"There is, though it's small and made up of a largely inner circle. An inner circle that one can enter freely if they pass through a simple qualifying race," she smiles and glances over to Minn. Minn finishing with the employee looks back across the table to Qar. "Our request is that you find yourself ingratiated with the swoop racers who race in the lower city. Place high enough in their introductory race to gain entry to their little club and then come back to us again for further instruction. Simple, yes?"

"Sounds like that. There might be a catch, but if you're not telling, I'm not asking. I'd rather invest some trust into this budding partnership." He nodded with a small smile. "When's the next thing scheduled?"

"No catch. Not yet," Iris offered with a light smile. "They hold them frequently. Find yourself a journey down to their clubhouse.." she glanced to Minn.
"They have a clubhouse down in the lower city. Small place but it serves as their meeting point for all their other operations as well. Find them, introduce yourself, and inspire them with the idea that it's time for another one of their little shows. They'll need a few racers preset, probably, to make it worth their while and you'll just have to do what you can to make it work."
Irish chimed in again, "Which I'm sure you'll do fine, darling. All you have to do then is place in the first race and you're as good as in."

Qar nodded. "I'll be fine." He got the gist of it. "Any names of places and people I should be aware of in relation to this?"

Drinks arrived, each one being set into the hands of whom it was for. Qar received one that matched the same as the twins, a silverish colored drink with a golden trim around the top of the glass with ice-cubes cut into small plumbob shapes. Iris claimed hers and stood with the motion, walking over toward the window as she looked back to Qar over a shoulder with a smile.
"Best leave more information out of it for now, keeps your introduction organic. It won't be too hard to find your way to their clubhouse. They found themselves a place just a bit outside the main section of the residential area down there. Many of the people living down there owe the gang for some protection against the gonks, and they tolerate them in return. They're a small organization but hold sway."

"Make sense for establishing organic links with such an organisation then, with outreach but small enough to go under the radar." He mused, picking up the drink and watching Iris move. Educated by earlier experience, he didn't want to assume what he behaviour implied. He'd have otherwise joined by by the window, but he decided to stay in his seat, just adopt a more open position, with the drink rested on the knee.
He tilted his drink. "Am I waiting for a toast, or is it gauche in these parts?"

"We'll toast when the jobs done, darling," Iris said with a smile as she raised the glass to her lips.
