[D6 MA] Crash Course in Comparative Philosophy

Solork looks over the pile of gleaming metal from a distance, shielding his eyes with a hand.
"Well...that is indeed a crashed ship" He wasn't sure why Zim had suggested the location, but at this point, he trusted her on it.

Zim wasn't sure why she felt like this would be a good place to meet either, but she did feel it would be. She had felt a sense of hope when travelling around this area before, and she felt it might be a good place to reflect in.
There was also this other feeling, but...
.. she wasn't sure, but she would maybe find out why.
For now, she got closer to the wreck, walking slowly with her robe over a set of environment gear, and waves to the Gank when she saw him as she came closer to the place she had mentioned.

"Interesting spot. It looks like someone has set up a bit of a camp here" Solork looks around. "Should we go inside?"

"Does look like that", she says, taking a better look after she greets him properly. "I wonder who it is. I'd mostly been drawn here by the...
feeling this place emanates. I'd felt it before when walking around here."
Another look at the wreckage, then one at Sol. "Well, might as well take a better look inside. Let's just keep an eye out in case whoever set up this camp comes back, eh? Not like we've come here to mess up with their things, but that may not be clear to them..."

"Well we could try knocking" Sol shrugs and walks up to the ship, rapping on the entrance.
"Hello! We are coming in"

A intercom by the door crackles to staticky life
"You are go for the secret swamp base. No panhandlers, missionaries or imperials are allowed on the premises."

Zim looks a bit puzzled at the intercom. "Secret swamp base, eh?"
She looks at Sol. "Well... we're none of those, so maybe we can get in?", she says with a silent chuckle.

"Mmmmhm...Okay! But wipe your feet on the welcome mats. Cleanliness is next to shootiness."

"Ahhh. I recognize that voice! How's the shooting?" Sol asks as he complies with the request, wiping his feet before stepping insude

Zim wipes her feet as well and gets ready to go inside, taking a good look at the wreckage itself and whatever Nara has collected and changed inside it. "Hm... I may have heard it before, I think? Do you know who that is, Sol?"

"It's one of our Resistance friends... Friends? Aquaintances" the Gank corrects. "A bit rough around the edges, but seems friendly enough"

Down a corridor practically tiled with welcome mats the space opened up into what must have once been the ship's hold. The entire room was still sightly tilted but now housed a mismash of scavenged, homebuilt and 'inventive' furniture. In one corner a Chiss woman appeared to be pushing some sort of gaming table against a wall. The table read 'Property Of The [paint scratched off] Casino.'
"Oh, heya! How's it hanging my fellow bounty guy?"
Looking at Zimrzala
"And it's....you! I love your tendrils by the way, very cool."

"You've...really made the place your own." Sol calls out, rather curious. "What drew you to this place?"

"Other than the giant swamp monsters? Probably the serenity, it gets real zen in here sometimes. That and it's away from law enforcement...for reasons."
With a final heave Nara slides the table flush with the wall
"Also, the rent is much cheaper."

"Well that motel is sounding a lot less safe. And yeah, it's better than sleeping on the ground in some wilderness. I should know. Are you... Open to roommates? And what about these swamp monsters?"

Zim is slightly surprised by the Chiss' familiarity with Sol, but she soon feels more at ease around her as well - she does remember the girl from the activities in the Printing Press.
"Oh. Thanks, I guess. And... as Sol said, you've really done some good work here!"
She looks at the different things around again, but also at the parts of the ship beneath it all.
"That...
zen feeling you mention - it's interesting, isn't it? That's what I had felt before too", she says looking at Sol. "I wonder... what gives this place, a wreckage of a ship, that feeling..."
Then, looking at the Chiss again. "Did you have a chance to get to know more about... what this was?" She then shakes her head slightly with a shy smile as she extends her hand. "Oh... sorry, by the way! Name's Zimrzala. Or... Zim, or Zee, to most, I guess. I think I didn't get your name, friend."

Sol thinks about the "zen" comment and reaches out. And, Force take it, there was something there. Perhaps not as pronounced as the Grotto, but a sense of things being right and ordered, and an indomitable spirit.
"She's right. I rather appreciate what you've done with the place"

"Zee is an awesome name. Much better than Zed, he's dead. I'm Nara Phln but I also answer to 'You!' and 'Hey Asshole'. As for the zen, well that's just because I arranged all my weapons according to feng shui. The trick is to have the barrels facing up stream with symmetrical grenade placement. Its soothing but also highlight practical."

"Right on! You know, you two are some of the most polite house guests I've had. No throwing in flashbangs and storming the place or opening fire from outside."
Jerking a thumb towards a bar fridge
"There's beer if you want it. And if you don't drink we have some of that green milk that was all the rage four years ago."

"Usually just a kicking in of the door works" Sol replies blithely before seeing Zim "But that is very rude and I should not do that to people who don't deserve it"
The Gank clears his throat. "Did you find anything good while clearing the place out?"

"I found a home....."
Nara looks serious for a few moments before bursting out laughing
"Nah! This place was pretty stripped. There are some computer consoles which are locked and a bunch of old cooking utensils. Otherwise I had to lug all this in through the swamp and nobody ask how I did that."
