Sol seems distant, but remembered the "Fung Shui" of the area. He takes some time to pull out the blood red stone in front of him now.

"Well, I'm working with you now"

Sol tinkers with the crystal and slots into in the staff he has been carrying around with him, shutting a curved hilt behind it. With a snap-hiss, and Yari shape emerges from the tip, a crossguard in place to catch attack.

"It's not what I dreamt of. But dreams so rarely come true"

"Hello, Solark Tan. I see you are still working on that crystal, how does that go?"

"Well, I would say. Freeing, in a way SCaT. How are you?" Sol finds it hard to look up from the work

"I just got another bit of cybernetics last night, an escape circuit. With this, I'll find it a lot harder to be restrained in the future. With a bit more work, I think I'll be able to meet basics of combat proficiency for a Mandalorian. I think I will proceed to make my own armor for now."

There is the sound of propulsors coming to an halt followed by an heavy stomp. Not long after J-Richo made his appearance.

''Su cuy'gar'' he called to them both ''How does the morning find you both?''

"That's good!" Sol replies, generating the first bit of unprompted exuberance in what feels like days. "I will do my best to rescue you if someone tries as well, but every bit helps!"

Sol waves as Richo joins them. "Vode An. It's good to see you" sol holds up his lightsaber (spear?) "Well...what do you think? Oh, SCaT is working on his own armor. I'm thinking of doing the same. I don't know if you want something else brother, but I think it's time for me to Upgrade. Would you like me to begin working on one for you as well?"

''Su cuy'gar is the proper hello...Vode An is more of a goodbye'' he corrected as soon as he heard...and then the jedi weapon was made evident

He stopped his movement and was silent for a moment

''It is good to see you too but...this jedi weapon is the thing you have been working on?''

There was noted emphasis on jedi

"Ahhh. Thank you for clarification" Sol nods as he practices sweeps and feints, testing the balance.

"I wouldn't call it a Jedi weapon. Certainly not a traditional one anyway. The ones you saw in the meeting the other day, those are weapons are symbols. To the Jedi and those who worship the Force the lightsaber is an elegant weapon, a martial arts weapon. This...this is a pike. This is a weapon to be used in conjunction with allies, breaking up formations, light vehicle assault, and slowing that charge against any melee foes who might rush so that allies may apply ranged fire."

Sol peers down the shaft. "I've had a lot of time to think about it, and what this means"

"Lightsabers aren't just jedi tools regardless. The question I have is why would it matter if a Mandalorian has one? I get that the darksaber was used as a status symbol by the founder of Clan Vizla, but this isn't that."

''The problem is not that a mandalorian as one'' Richo said, crossing his arms ''The problem is that a mandalorian chose that over his beskar'gam''

Understanding clicks for Solork. "I see. This has been a project for so long, and to properly forge a suitable armor would take longer, so I prioritized a beam weapon first. Which is a reasonable line of logic for a former Jedi in training...but not for a Mandolorian, for whom armor is a critical tenant of the ways. My priorities never changed, even when they should have, and I have been negligent" Sol bows to J-Richo. "I apologize for this lapse."

''At least you recognize the mistake'' he said with a nod ''You may have too much Jedi in you yet, Sol, and that might be a problem.''

he paused

''Do you know why?''

The Gank pauses, mulling on the subject. After about a minute, he slowly speaks.

"I can think of a few. I have spent a great deal of time trying to think like a Jedi. How a Jedi conducts themselves, how they view themselves, how they fight. And, while there is some overlap, that might actually prove a negative. I might act like a Jedi at a moment, going off on my own, abandon the team. Cohesion will be vital, especially with a group this small"

"If that is not what you intended, I honestly do want to do my best here and learn"

''You are right when you say you are part of a team now. We are more then that though for we are family.''

He chooses the sit on a nearby crate

''The flaw in the jedi is their arrogance that gives them, amongst other things, a dependence on the Force and their jedi weapon...Take a seat I will tell you how the True Mandalorians were vanquished.''

Sol tucks in his legs, leaning forward eagerly. This is the sort of lore he was excited to hear

SCaT takes a moment to look through his database for the term 'True Mandalorians', was this given to him already when the Supercommando Codex and Resol'nare downloaded into him? Then he sits down as well, if for no other reason than to filter his memories for times where the Jedi were arrogant during the clone wars.

Richo searched his memory banks for the night were his adopted father spoke about the downfall to the one he sought to made mando'ade.

''This story was told by Caesar who, by his own account, was one of the rare survivors.'' he began ''The defeat of our forefathers came in two violent strikes by the death watch. One is a tale of deceit and treason, the other is a tale of arrogance and hypocrisy.''

He leaned back

''I am no storyteller so I will to recount it as best I can: Near 52 BBY Mandal'ore Mereel believed the Death Watch had perished after their last decisive battle on Concord Dawn. With their enemy dead, Mereel now led his True Mandalorian supercommandos as paragons of honor and courage, eventually taking a contract for the planet Korda Six. Mandal'ore had been contracted by the Korda Defense Force and hired to extract a rookie security team pinned down under fire by a force of local hostiles. Kordan intelligence suggested minimal resistance; the natives had no formal army and were poorly armed. Taking up the job, Mereel divided his men into three teams: Vertigo Company, an aerial unit utilizing jetpacks under Mereel's second-in-command, Montross, "Jango's Grunts" where Caesar was which would provide cover fire and hold the extraction zone, under the command of his adoptive son, Jango Fett, and Headhunter Company, Mereel's own unit, charged with reaching the recovery site and extracting the security team.''

He paused, double checking files

''On the approach to the planet's surface, Mereel's ships took heavy damage from ion cannon fire, forcing most to make the best of rough crash-landings. The "minimal resistance" estimated turned out to be vastly inaccurate: Almost immediately, the Mandalorians came under heavy fire. Mereel was helpless as numerous soldiers fell victim to enemy blasters, and it wasn't long until the Mand'alor called for them to abort the mission and retreat. Montross refused to comply, unwilling to have a retreat on their record, and pushed forward, only to fall prey to a grenade blast that left him wounded and in need of rescue himself. That rescue would come from Mereel, who shot and killed no fewer than three enemy Kordan before angrily reiterating his orders for a retreat. At the same time as Jango and his team stumbled upon a Death Watch ambush...their commander, a kriffer of the Vizla, arrived on the battlefield in a four-wheeled tank. Vizla himself attacked the Mandal'ore, launching a wrist rocket that injured Mereel. As the tank opened fire with a barrage of laser cannon fire, Mereel called to Montross for an airlift but Montross turned his back on the Mand'alor, leaving him to die alone on the battlefield while he returned to the other Mandalorians. Mereel soon fell to fire from Vizla's tank.

Montross would attempt to take over leadership of the Mandalorians upon his return to camp, claiming that Mereel was dead and that Jango had perished trying to save him. However, Jango returned to the camp, carrying with him his adopted father's body, and exposing Montross as a liar and a traitor. As Montross slipped off into exile, Jango succeeded Mereel the new Mand'alor, just as the other Mandalorians believed Mereel would have wanted, having chosen Jango as his successor at a point prior.''

He looked at the two

''Allright so far?''
