Going into the Swamp there was another place that Deonis could feel though it felt different than he was used to. It wasn't unknown to him he knew what the light felt like he had used it on occasion and he was familiar with the feeling of it but he had never felt a place suffused with it like this.

He made his way through the swamp looking for the source of this feeling.

Finding his way through the Grotto was perhaps.. easy, in a certain kind of appreciation. There were no tricks or too difficult terrain. However, each step he took into the place he could feel it weighing heavily on him. Lethargy slowly taking over and if he pressed on inside he would feel drained and in much need of a rest to lay down.

He felt the Lethargy, the draining need for rest with every step he takes. But the big man presses on pushing forward until he can't anymore.

Following the path like any other he needs to strip the majority of his gear to get through the small crevice which leads into the grotto. Once there the place is open and with plenty of plant life that feels and appears largely dormant to him. It's a peaceful seeming place but it feels.. unwelcoming in its nature to him. Every thought is plagued with the sense that he should simply lay down and rest, while something about that suggestion seems like it wouldn't be a good idea.

Deonis takes measure of the place wearily he doesn't feel welcome here but he means to understand it more fully. He finds a spot and sits with his legs crossed, Meditation wasn't a main lesson taught by his master but it was here and there. He went through the steps and cleared his mind, opening it to the force.

Deonis spends what feels like minutes here. Sitting beneath the tree the unnatural lethargy melds into some weird semblance of peace. Though it does not agree with him, nor his natural state, it does lull him into something of a trance beneath the great tree. Feeling the weight of his shut eyes it seems as though his consciousness never leaves him, and he never enters a proper meditative state. However, the moment he opens his eyes again he can see the shift of the sun through the grottos roof. An hour, maybe more has passed since he first shut his eyes.

Deonis frowns this place hadn't quite been what he was expecting it to be. He took a deep breath and looked about the place seeing what lie around him. While he likely missed what was most important perhaps he caught a glimpse of something.

While he didn't notice what it was exactly, there was the undeniable presence he could grasp. In the back of his mind he was certain that he was being watched by something or someone, but no matter how much he looked around he couldn't find any evidence of it. Deonis was the cause of curiosity in at least one more mind here on Bellionas.

He took a deep breath and figured he had little else to gain from here but couldn't bring himself to be frustrated at the moment.

He gathered himself and went through the gap and put his armor back on before heading out. He would return later.
