Solork stirs slowly, a leg kicking slightly, and suddenly needs to brace himself as he feels he sudden lurch of gravity/

Where am I?

His eyes snap open as the memories of the day come flooding back: the swamp, his subpar crafting, smashing the crystal he had dedicated a year to saving...and the Grotto talking to him, though he wasn't sure about the message, exactly.

"Ok...remember Sol. Did you get any strange Force dreams here?" He wracks his memory of the night's sleep and tries to keep his senses expanded/

Ever present the peace and calm within the grotto remained and yet.. it was somehow lessened. Looking around he would see the tree, as he watched for some time the day prior as the leaves fell from it there was now a full extra branch that has died in the time. Given the timing.. the release of the darkness, the hatred, the raw negative power in this place seems to have had an unfortunate and unintended consequence.

"Of course...not even destroying an item of great darkness means me screwing up. Par for the course I guess."

The Gank braces himself and controls his frustration.

"Ok. If I am going to fix this I need to..."

The Gank pauses "I don't know." Sighing, he tries to adopt a meditation position. "Please." He whispers "Tell me what you need"

Slipping into mediation Solork found himself tapping into the peace that was still prevalent here.

[Discipline vs Hard]

Maybe it's the continual time spent here, or the night sleeping, or that without an object affected by the bDark Side, but Sol is able to focus like he never has before

Finding that peace of focus he the worry washes away from him, that need to do something now fades and he's brought to peace here in this moment. Gentle rays of light of the natural shifting of the sun above give him a warmth that feels pleasant, despite the heat that was heavy and weighed him down most everywhere else. Around him he could feel the clinging presence of the light, the life that was found here. Reminded that.. the light never goes out, that there is always time to correct things.

Patience.. it was one of the virtues Cartess extolled most frequently in her teachings. It was something that the Jedi tried to remember to hold to as often as they could. Action eventually came, but it was in patience and listening to the world around oneself for long enough to realize the right step forward.

All things were connected- and this was truest when it came to the Force.

Sol sighs, shoulders rolling forward in acceptance.

"I'm sorry" He says to the Grotto. "I am sorry for my impatience. I am sorry that I didn't think past what I thought was a good thing. I ran out and brought a Droid in front of Cartess, but rushed it when I didn't need to. I ran to the swamp because I was then determined to prove myself and change things in one fell stroke. Then, when I realized my mistake, I decided that it was better to end something rather than try to save it any more...releasing all that fury and hatred I had collected earlier."

Sol slides down the branches, landing in a crouch. "I will see if I can offer something to help. But, in the end, "The axe forget, the tree remembers" He runs his hand over the bark. "Apologies don't take the axe wound away. But I am sorry"

His words were said, the grotto remained. It was a peaceful place but.. there was always hope, always.

The Gank's steps out with renewed purpose, feeling more centered than before
