Terminal to Nowhere [Day 11, MA]

"That is the path you wish to follow. Every action a consequence, each and every are connected more than we often take stock to realize," she nods, and steps back once more. Perhaps, he might come to realize, this was simply a coincidence or a timed occurrence as he feels the veil blocking off some of his key emotions lifts. Hands linking behind her back once more, her natural standing position as it were. The woman regards him, watching for a change.

as the curtain lifted his emotions came slamming back into him anger turned to boiling ragea half step was traken back and he crouched into a combat stance his heart pounding again "I should cut you in two." he growled and looked like he might try his eyes shone a brilliant ethereal yellow from under his hood.

But then he closed them and took a deep calming breath centering himself. After a moment or two he reopened his eyes and they merely had a dull glow rather than brilliant luminescence. "Thank you for the advice." he said with a tense voice filled with contained rage.

With a slight surrender in the raise of her hands, only half height, she mocks his aggression at first. A wry smile upon her lips she regards him for the moment, licking her bottom lip as she does so. Cackling she lowers her hands but not before pulling her hood back over her head.

"You are an interesting one.. Deonis Harik. I will watch your story with great interest," she says, another wry smirk. "Show me if you find a path between the two. I cannot wait to witness it."

his eyes held open hostility as he regarded her "Oh I will. I won't forget about you. I assure you that." he stood up straight facing her with a better handle on his anger, slowly seeping out as it naturally should. He felt a sort of responsibility for this situation, he hadn't done this but he hadn't stopped it either.

He fixed the woman with a level stare "You won't be the only one watching."

With simply a nod she began to back away from Deonis and would enter the crowd around them. However, just before the line she stops and regards him once more. "If you could travel to any one place in all of this galaxy, where would you go?"

he paused a little thinking, before eventually shrugging as if resigning to the thought that it couldn't really hurt "The sentimental answer? Wherever the people I care about are. Aside from that? My home world. Real home world. Where my people were from originally."

"Moraband... It has been ever so long since I last visited. I wonder if it is the same," she ponders the thought, looking to Deonis with a nod.

A wry smile, "I shall have to see for myself."

He thought for a moment "maybe I'll see you there." He said simply. He was conflicted on this one, he knew the malice and hate that was there. The cruelty she wore on her face, in her expressions. But she appeared to be....helpful? An enigma to think on for sure.

And like any good enigma, one second she was there and the next?

She was gone.

Deonis stood the people all round him bustling to and fro leading their lives each one with complexity and depth hardship and victory and most ignorant to the greater struggle happening in the universe. They didn't realize they likely brushed shoulders with one of the most powerful beings they would ever encounter and continue on in bliss.

He had learned some things but felt he was leaving with more questions than answers. Maybe that's OK though. He thought and pulled his hood deeper over his head as he entered the throng of people becoming another cloak in the crowd.
