"Mblergh..." Manny said as we walked down the ramp, hands raised. "I mean... good morning, officers! What can I help you with?"

He looked around, his hair thoroughly mussed instead of its usual halfway mussed.

With military clip the officer addresses him, "I assume you are Captain Donos then?" he requests, bringing a datapad up and into hand as he steps forward. Two of the four troopers approaching with him to meet Manny in the middle between ship and port.

"That's me! Captain Manny!" Manny said brightly.

He looked at the troopers, then back at the officer. "If you're looking to hire my ship, hey, that's perfect. I'm kinda between things right now, so... yeah." He nodded eagerly.

Over the shoulder of one of the troopers he see's the older woman from the other day peeking around a corner. Snapping him back to attention with a crisp and clear, "Pay attention, Mr. Donos," he reminds him sternly and steps forward with the datapad.

"A list of charges," he hands over the datapad. "This datapad is the itemization of the criminal activity we were able to link back to you from a nearby sector. There you robbed many of the Empire's fine citizenry of their wealth. However.. the situation as it is we cannot return you to Kamda to face an appropriate local punishment nor does the Empire have any wish to house you in their detention center within sector. Thus we have determined you will be locked down here on Bellionas," he gives a nod toward his ship, sometime in the night the clamps to keep his ship grounded were locked on and the port out was closed.

"Locked down until such a time as you have paid your dues. 2,500 Imperial credits are due to the Imperial treasury to pay your debt to society. Until then- we will be keeping an eye on you, Captain Donos."

"That can't be right!" Manny objected. "I'm a ship captain! I don't rob people. I... ship things. Hey, do you think that's why they call them ships?"

He sighed, slumping his shoulders. "Isn't there anything you can do? That's a lot to pay for a ship captain without a cargo..." Manny put a defeated look on his face. He didn't want them checking and finding Sholua. Or Leah. Or Phroth... why did he have so many Jedi on his ship?!?!

"I'm afraid, Mr. Donos, that everyone's actions catch up with them eventually. Yours merely come due today," he says with that level of disconnect, just a man doing his job who really doesn't want to be on the duty of serving notices to people. Yet, here he was. Perhaps if he had a moustache he could twirl after delivering the news? No, no, that would be outside of regulation. Last thing he needs is someone serving him a notice.

"Until such a time as you can afford to pay I suggest finding more honest work here on Bellionas. I'm sure the city is ripe with opportunity," he droned out, like reading from a script.

Manny drooped further. "Oooo-kay." He sighed.

Such was the cost of doing business, sometimes.

"We will be waiting, Captain Donos," he says, giving him a dip of the head and then indicating with a wave for the troopers to follow. Leaving Manny to his ship, and his debts.
