"Our camp? This is a safehouse... I'll show you camping if you want. And believe me, it's fine if everything is out there in the wilderness too."

Varina nodded with a small laugh. "Yes, your leadership. That's what you get for marrying the brother of the leader of a group." She still couldn't stomach calling him Mand'alor... Best to speak around it. "Anyways, injuries happen. I know I took it hard and all but I'm still here, Raven. I don't blame you at all for this. Well, not unless you could turn this galaxy into a place where the New Mandalorians were right the whole time."

"A camp of sorts. An urban camp," she jested. Or was she?

However, Varina's words struck a nerve, and Raven was quiet for a while, her brow furrowed in deep thought.

"I don't think they were nescessarily wrong, to be honest..."

Varina frowned. "What is it about my stuff lying around that's so bad anyways? It's particularly bad right now but I'll put it away after I'm done with the armor."

With that, she focused back on her paintjob and barely even registered Raven's concern. When Raven did speak up though, Varina scoffed. "They wanted to give up armor. They wanted to give up killing altogether. But the way I see it, somebody always needs to die. That's why I still kill."

Raven shook her head, smiling lightly. "Don't worry about it. You're injured."

She wasn't quite sure what to say about the New Mandalorians on that, feeling conflicted still about trying to remember the virtues her parents had appriciated from the Duchess... and balancing that with her own life. Her own honor, and the expectations of others. "Maybe. I don't know. I'll think about it some, Varina... but, for now, it's time for me to get back to work," she sighed and rose from her seat on the floor, picking up her helmet as she stood.

"Thank you for the talk though. I'm glad you seem to be doing better."
