[Day 4 - Late Afternoon] Bare Necessities

"Oh, you know Julo, too? Apparently, we have some veterans from Kamda here. Maybe you should consider asking them for the whole story, I only have bits and parts here," she offered as a suggestion. It was probably more of a personal suggestion than anything, considering she shared the same roof as some of those veterans.

"We can't stay here forever. I'm guessing that they're looking to get things pushed in the right direction."

''That would be a logical course of action...who do you know would qualify?'' he asked concerning the topic of Kamda ''As to Bellionas...their strategy is not wrong but it is a long term one. I don't see any direct action anytime soon.''

[Soleene Stryss]

"Have you had a chat with the other Mandalorians here?" she asked curiously. There were likely others but her fellow Mandalorians were perhaps the only ones who mentioned Kamda with some hint of familiarity. "It seems like a small world with Julo, maybe he also wrangled a few more of his connections to the world too."

"The leader is pretty young...I think she'd want to avoid her share of casualties. Not her words but just a feeling I have."

''She is young but not foolish I would think. Still...''

he shook his head

''I suspected there were a few more mandalorians beside you...'' he tilted his head towards the groceries she held ''...but I did not cross paths with any of them yet.''

[Soleene Stryss]

"Suspected?" She chortled at the thought. "If a few locals can report some Mandalorian settings, I would think that you could have run into a few already yourself."

She looked around and shrugged. "I guess it is a pretty large city and they are busy. I did make mention of you, so it would likely be just a matter of time."

[J-Richo Toboga]

''Yeah...well...'' how could he explain this ''...I have mostly been acting around the lower city for the last few days. I suspect no many walked around there.''

He was silent for a moment

''Since the civil war it is prudent to know from which factions one come from before...meeting up''

[Soleene Stryss]

She nodded, thinking she got an idea by what he meant. "I don't blame you about being cautious and it's good to be cautious. I won't tell you the whole story, not really mine to tell, but let's just say that we've been bit in the behind for being overly friendly. The wrong ones came, acted all friendly and then some people were stabbed. We're working to settle the score. They're probably around, so watch yourself."

''Shameful behavior'' he shakes his head in dismay ''Betraying hospitality is such sinful cowardice...I wish you success on your search for justice and I will keep an eye out.'' he affirms

''Beyond that I am curious: which faction do you and your friends belong to?''

[Soleene Stryss]

"Well, they wanted our attention and they're going to get it. Now that they've gotten us riled up, this is just going to eventually happen and they can't stop us." She said on a confident note. "If they didn't have a deathwish, then what they've done was a huge mistake."

"We're Mandalorians who follow the leadership of Mand'alor" She said on the question

He seemed to pause for a good moment as if he did not quite understand.

''The Mand'alor?'' silence once more ''Must I understand there is a new pretender to the title?''

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene seemed to look directly at him, her silence might indicate a few things on the matter. After a moment, she chuckled a little at the question. "No, you're misunderstanding. He's not a pretender at all. The real deal. We've made a big enough fuss about it and nobody has challenged that claim, as real as it can be in the galaxy. Not a direct challenge, anyway."

He could not help but chuckle as well ''Many claimed the title in recent decades but none successfully unified our people...'' he paused, thinking

''History will recognize a true Mandal'or if he succeeds such a task. I don't think yours has achieved that quite yet...but who is he?

[Soleene Stryss]

"I guess the event where we met our target was an attempt to do just that. Many have rallied under his banner but of course, there are still differences. He continues to build support at the very least, especially as sentiments to reclaim what has been surrendered by our more complacent and collaborative kin to the Empire is one many Mandalorians will rally behind. Probably a simple cause but one that has a lot of heart behind it, especially during such times in the galaxy." She nodded surely on that note. "Seeing as the Empire is probably the only major party who disagrees with this claim and sees him as a threat, I think we must be moving in the right direction."

"Mandalore and his brother Praxton came from actually formerly belonged to the Saxon, turning their way from their former paths to right former wrongs and path the way forward for all Mandalorians. The fact that they were able to swerve from the path of their Clan speaks much of their character. If you wish to know more about both men directly, I'd ask Raven," she nodded.

''In these times one who would rise to the position of Mand'alor like the ones of old must have a vision that transcends our squabbles...mmmh'' he thought for a moment

''I will need to hear the man speak or speak to him myself''

[Soleene Stryss]

"Of course, I'm sure he would want to speak and prove himself above the hubris, just like any upstanding Mandalorian. Maybe you'll get the opportunity after all of this is done. Despite the fact there isn't all that much going on right now, there is a lot of problems to solve still," she gave a shake of her head.

"I should head back before dinner time rolls around. Some people just might actually pass out from a lack of protein, heh. See you around J-Richo." She gave him a salute as she prepared to make her leave.
