[Phroth Lissken]

The feeling of her fingers running against his palm sent tingles down his spine. Her words, though. They didn't quite ring any bell to him, or rather, left him with more questions than anything. He watched her as she worked, then looked to her face, his brow rising.

"What truth is that?" His words were soft, yet still that undercurrent of subsonic dread.

[Meiyokashi]

"You're a hunter Phroth, it's in your blood and your very nature," she settles his hand down, putting it onto his leg. Resting her own in her lap, "And I do not mean it in the way people do when they look to what you are and believe they see a monster, people of limited vision and mentality. There is a beauty in it but- yet, there is also a truth to it that you run from every day.." she says, shifting to look up at him.

His features softened, eyes closed as he pondered her words. There was a sliver of a smile there. "I'm more than just a hunter. It's part of who I am, yes, but it isn't what defines me." They opened again, looking to the woman. "The truth is, what you're looking at. I'm just a guy, going about, trying to live my life. Maybe help others along the way, maybe just drifting."

The smile widened somewhat. "There's no running from things here."

[Meiyokashi]

She seemed to be holding onto something for a moment, something she was preparing to say and then she let it go. Looking to Phroth with a simple smile, "It is.. interesting. Speaking with you tonight Phroth. I'll think on it for some time," she said.

Leaning forward she stepped away from the stairs. Walking back into the path she turned around to face Phroth once more. "I think,Phroth, that in time you will understand what I see. I hope it doesn't.." she shook her head.

"It has been a pleasure, Phroth."

"Maybe we can talk again sometime." He stood as she did, hands disappearing beneath his cloak. Watching as she began to walk away.

"You never told me your name!" He called out, smiling still.

There was a pause, hesitation for a moment but as she looked to him something old stirred. She called back to him, giving her name. With it, offering a brief wave and then walking down the street.

"Allura.."
