Another Day, Another Few Credits in the Till (D3 ME, The Cave)

(open. Will be sparse with the work days for D3, but feel free to use the space)
With the heat, Dhel's picked a short, garnet-colored halter dress with a skirt portion that mostly fluttering fringe, sparkling with small glass beads she'd added to the cheap synthetic fabric not very long ago. Her feet are bare, pads tough enough to withstand the mild splinters of the sporadically maintained and often abused stage, and almost silent as she makes her way around the stage during her set. She's no dancer, but can feel the swirl of the beaded fringe enough to gauge the effect of a bit of extra hip movement, or a sudden start or stop.
Her song choices tonight match well, bubbly, playful pop that may have been popular with kids in the Core two years ago, bawdy bar songs with choruses that have room at the end for a good swig and cheer, and one of those cheesy tunes where every other line seems about to end in blatant innuendo only to slide into a different word and carry on toward the next.

Deonis wasn't the most frequent visitor to the cave but the air of mystery he left behind was more than likely quite memorable. Even someone like him needed an escape from the troubles of the world and that's something The Cave provided.
He sat at a table alone watching Dhel it wasn't the first time he had watched the Bothan woman sing and it probably won't be the last. The hulking armored figure had no drink and his helmet have no indication of his mood, but surely if he kept coming back he didn't hate the experience.

(Expecting another)
Like the night before, Raven had found a quiet corner of the place to enjoy her beverage and listen to some music. And like before, a cloak hid most of her armor, her helmet was attached to her belt and she wore her
hood upalong with a headwrap that was now pulled down to her chin, allowing her to drink without hindrance.
Tonight she had a friend with her at her table...

Sholua was here again. Looking a little thoughtful and not in her performing clothes. Well, maybe she was, after all they could be easily hidden under the normal clothes she was wearing.
For now though she was sat at the bar with a tall glass of something beery.

Deonis noticed the Mirilan at the bar when he went up to get a drink "Not performing tonight?" He asked simply courscant accent slightly modulated through the helmet.

He arrived shortly after her, his cloak hood brought up. The large frame of the Karkarodon didn't quite fit into the booth, so he sat at the edge of it, leaning on the table somewhat. His head bobbed idly with the music.
"Thanks for the invite."

She gave him a level look.
"Not yet. Maybe later. See what the crowd is like. Whether they're in a generous mood or not."

Deonis nodded "fair enough." He said "care if I sit here?" He asked indicating the seat next to her.

"Sure. Take it while you can, seats don't stay empty long here."

"And thank you for coming. We... didn't exactly have time to catch up at the meeting the other day. And the music here is nice." Holding her drink in one gloved hand, she half-watched the stage. The sound was more important to her than the performer, but Dhel seemed nice enough too so the least she could do was to be an attentive audience.
"How you been since Kamda?"

He sank into it, a surprisingly smooth motion for someone his size and armored to boot "true." Was all he said in response.
"Deonis." He offered by way of introduction "often hang out here when not working?" He asked his voice low and a little rough

"Sholua."
Was the equally short introduction.
"It's not bad place all in all. Beer is passable, the fights are short and far between. Honey on the stage definitely brightens the place up. Not always here when I'm not working but there are a lot of worse places I could be."

Deonis nodded "fair enough." Made sense he was here after all why wouldn't someone else want to spend their off time here. "Do you know her well?" He asked motioning his head toward the stage not sure how familiar the people working here were with eachother

"Seen her around for years but honestly, only really started talking to her a few days ago. We're getting on fine. Like a wookiee at a bantha barbecue."
She grinned and took a pull on her drink.

Soleene did say that she was going to drop by the Cave after making Dhelih's acquaintance yesterday. She probably was surprised to find that the establishment wasn't too far from the Mandalorian hideout. It wasn't a banging club on a busy planet found on the inner rim but it was cool and quaint in its own way, she would give it that.

Through the set, Dhel notices Raven. The other night's almost fight had been rather memorable. She offers eye contact and a smile at a pause in the song, with a similar one for Soleene.
The shark showing up to talk to Raven has her thinking about the shark boyfriend, Manny mentioned. But man, that would be a weird coincidence, wouldn't it?
One to examine, when she wasn't performing.

A short snort came from the helmet "Never head that one." he said in a mildly amused tone. Bartender delivered a drink that Deonis took and set next to himself.
"Native?" he asked her as he produced a small metal straw from a pocket in his armor

A small shake of the head.
"But been here long enough to feel like it. Long, long time since I last saw Mirial."

"I've been good. Busy. Between working with Tux and company when they need help, my own studies, and helping those with my gift." He spoke obliquely, relaxing back against the chair. His eyes drawn to the stage, following the gaze of Raven. Still bobbing along with the song.
"How's married life treating you? New front here seems like it would make an exciting honeymoon"

"Glad to hear you're still working with Tux and the boys," she chuckled briefly for a moment as she tried not to flush over the big misunderstanding she had had over Lad's nickname.
But, the features of her face tightened, as if she stopped herself from clenching the hand that was holding the glass. Phroth could probably sense the stirring feelings of anger, and fear.
"... Pretty good, up until someone tried to kill my husband." She finished those words with a slow exhale of anger. "I'm here to try to find the ones responsible. To find out
why, but also to get my revenge."
