Tenzing had messaged for a meeting, saying he had some progress to tell her of. Seeing that it would be best to have the opportunity to speak freely, Raven had responded that he'd be welcome at the safehouse. There they wouldn't have to worry about Imperial patrols or someone suddenly listening in on the conversation.

At least there would be breakfast and caf available, as Raven had cooked up a sizeable portion of food for today. Who knew that having a bunch of warriors in one house meant a lot of stomachs to fill (and the likes of Dredgen ate a lot as he was a big guy and Silas was a growing teenager). Today it was a hearty, spiced tomato and pepper sauce, with eggs poached in the sauce itself, topped with cubes of brined curd white cheese, and bread on the side (which was probably a bit on the drier side as she hadn't hauled in anymore food today).

And of course, there was caf. Just a matter of waiting for the smell of caf to summon the cop...

There was a knock at the door. Tenzing could have let himself in but that would be rude. So he waited patiently holding a box. To the untrained observer he looked like a rather grizzled delivery guy who was so done with this kriffin job. It was one of his favorite acts.

As he waited his finely honed Cop senses picked up the aroma of that most blessed of all liquids: free kaff.

The others had been notified that there would be a visitor, someone who she'd be working with and the one that had secured them this safehouse. So there wouldn't be unpleasant surprises.

The windows of the place had been covered up even before they moved in, but they had quickly found the spots they could use for a quick peek outside for safety measures. So once she heard the knock, Raven first checked the viewpoint, then opened the door.

Armored but without her helmet on, at least this time she didn't hide the armor so Tenzing for the first time got to see the impressive beskar'gam she wore. She looked down at the box in his hand, "good thing you deliver so early? Come on in."

"Yes ma'am." He threw a smirk her way and came on in. The place had changed a lot since the family he knew had lived here. The Mandos had significantly improved the security.

As he moved into the kitchen and dining area he slid the box onto the table. "That's a fine piece of kit. Been a while since I've seen proper Mandalorian armour like that." With an appreciative nod he flipped the box open.

"A dozen of Dol's finest. Even got him to try whipping up something that sounded like your Ujalaiy-ey? I'm sure I slaughtered that. Only three of those though..."

"Proper armor for a Mandalorian," she smiled some at the compliment for her armor. "Thanks."

Security was the most noticeable trait, along with the fact that it was a temporary camp. Even indoor in a house, it had a feeling of a military camp of sorts. Sure, there were things around... some pots and pans, a caf-machine, but everything seemed to be kept tidy and orderly.

"What, really?" Raven had been about to turn to offer him food, but then she had to do a double-take, and then retrace her steps back to actually look inside. "No way! He actually did do it?"

For the moment, the odd sight of an outsider's attempt at making Mandalorian food had captured her attention, and she couldn't help herself from reaching in to break off a piece to sample. It already felt dense in her hand, and taking a bite... it wasn't quite the same as she knew it, but it was still pretty damn tasty. "Oh man... this is great. What did you bribe him with to make this?"

Yep, the place looked like a forward camp. Enough to be somewhat comfortable, but easy to leave at a moment's notice.

"Yes way." He winked. "Let's just say me and Dol go way back. And maybe I keep him afloat with my usual breakfast orders, but don't tell him I said that."

"Hah, that's great. I'll have to make sure to ask for it too, in hopes it might become a staple on the menu," flashing a sincere grin, she finished the bite she had broken off. It would do for now.

"There's caf and food if you want something more filling and hearty than baked goods. Probably been a while since you had camp-styled food, right?" Raven jabbed a finger in the direction of the pot with the spicy meal. A pot of caf was already standing by with empty cups.

"That's not a bad approach with Dol. If it sells he'll make it." Got yo make a living.

He grinned at the spread. "Aw yeah. Don't mind if I do!" He walked over and happily grabbed the biggest mug he could find and a clean plate.

"So how's Bellionas been treating you and your friends?" He started by pouring kaff.

Plain bowls and spoons were available, and Raven made sure to give him a generous portion as she scooped the shakshouka in for Tenzing.

"It's been... well, all business aside, not bad. We've made some progress." Back to talking about business, her expression was much more focused - stern looking even.

"We made contact with the Raiders, confirming that Carid and his closest associates were working independantly of the group. They've been cast out by them."

Nodding along he took a few mouthfuls as she spoke. He wasn't so crass as to speak with his mouth full though.

"Mmm, this is good. Progress is good too." The news that Carid and friends had been cast out wasn't a huge surprise. "From what I've heard that's not unexpected. So, what do you know about the Valkyrie?"

Raven nodded approvingly of Tenzing sharing in the meal with her. Even if Tenzing had found his place in life, it was hard not to be reminded of another group of clones she knew, whom she wanted to have a chance of being part of the culture too one day.

"A member of clan Ordo. Pretty much lives up to that name," she said with a knowing chuckle, no doubt a bit of in-group humor. "Formerly of the Nite Owls, and before that the Death Watch. I can give you an update on that if you need, as I don't expect that to be all too common knowledge."

"Anyway, she's... a hard woman, but she's a woman of her word. I can't say I particularly like her, but I know I can trust her to some extent. We shared with her our findings of Carid's planned raid on an Imperial supply vessel that will be coming to Bellionas, and..." she rubbed her chin in thought, looking very much like a young warleader with her thoughtful mannerism, "if we can't locate him before that deadline, we are drawing up plans to maybe possibly ambush him during that raid."
