Tyllia spent the morning locked away inside her room; not like there was much incentive in risking imperial patrols outside after all. And besides, she had some tinkering to do.

She decided to start with the simplest thing; inserting a bunch of wiring underneath the fabric; and hidden armor plates; of her favorite outfit. In the event of certain types of energy discharges hitting the armour, the wires should safely guide some of it away and keep her a little less jolted.

That done, she went to her real task. Constructing the necessary parts for a more useful tool. This process took a lot more time; more time than she had to spend on it right now. But she could at least get all... or rather most... of the parts in order before final assembly at a later time.
