Throughout the region there is an extremely dry and oppressive heat. This heat creates a greater need for water reserves in most human-like beings but anyone that has greater water needs for their body will find this heat utterly oppressive under the strain.

Luckily, for many, living in the city provides a great deal of reprieve from these elements although it is still incredibly uncomfortable.
