After the group returned with news of not only what the Empire was up to but also that her own brother was still alive, and somehow wrapped up within it, Mara Kayde returned to her estates to manage them. For the next couple of weeks she and Sera have disappeared into the Upper City and the Kayde estates dealing with the information gathered and the loss of Petra. Leaving only Mylar to attend things here in the Middle City. Had he not been helped to escape by those others who were present within their makeshift radio station there is a lot to wonder what might have happened to this little resistance movement they have.

Weeks pass, the people of Bellionas go without the Voice of the People for this time but the riled up spirits of some within the city diminish while others only build. Without a good hand to guide the people there is plenty to worry about where their building rage and aggression might go. After all, what could a discordant people do against the Empire? However, as this question rests on the minds of many Mara returns from her estates and calls everyone into their hideout. Mara Kayde has developed their next step.. and, she needs help.

Their next target will be the Imperial Spire itself within the city, where all this information they need has certainly gone. With the first step being a mixer being organized by Saph for many of the wealthiest and most powerful within the city. As a family of reputed wealth, the Kayde's got the customary invitation. With Mylar's help the code that is suppled with the invitation to get scanned in at the door can be duplicated and spread amongst those who might be able to make use of it at the event. There is hope by going there they might gather or collect information that will benefit the resistances attempt to getting inside the Spire.

Knowing this will inexplicably tie her family's name with this new resistance and the voice of the people, Mara has broken into her family's funds again and has delivered four thousand Imperial credits to any remaining active and aiding her.
