Day 1 MN, Droids and Press-a-dent

At that little get together, Mara claimed that scrap parts were gathered together to create a multimedia station. This droid intends to use its tools to help turn those rusty bits of trash into good working components.

(Should I roll mechanics to represent working on the thing?)

Drifting along behind the other droid, the FX-12 unit had much the same idea. Well, with significantly less skill in mechanics. Still, a little muscle at a clandestine op was not without its merits, and FX-12 meant to contribute!

For the moment, that meant standing ominously to the SCaT droid's right in the inky darkness.

There was another form moving in the darkness, appraising the situation. He had thought he would be there alone but neither the B-1 nor the other droid could be missed for long.

Thus the mando emerged from another hallway, surprised at the sight

''Oh! It is you again!''

SCaT didn't survive the front lines as a b1 unit by lacking situational awareness. So it saw the droid approaching, but said nothing until it approached. "Rare when you find a medic droid with a sense of humor."
Turning to the Mandalorian, SCaT greets the friend(?) it made on the ferry here.
""Greetings master Toboga"

This unit has not had its memory wiped in 19 cycles. It is beginning to recognize some aspects of humor.

But it fell silent as it turned to fix its red lights on the Mandalorian.

This unit recognizes the sapient designated 'Toboga' from earlier this evening. It will refrain from blasting the sapient designated 'Toboga' at this time, in hopes that the sapient has friendly intent.

''You can call me J-Richo''

He moved closer to the two droids confidently, not considering the two droids to be any threats

''I suppose we are all here for the same purpose?''

This unit considers that there is a
a pause as FX-12 silently considers its calculations
...chance that is the case, FX-12 replies.

There are certainly many parts the sapients have left behind.

"Ah, I seem to have forgotten fleshbags need sleep. Oh well, we can still clean the dust maybe?"

''Aren't you a mechanic?'' the mando asked the former B-1 ''If you can point out the useful from what is'nt I can begin to clear the trash''

SCaT then begins the process of pointing out which items are clearly parts, which ones may be parts, and which ones are definitely trash. (Fluff only most likely, doubt we can clean it enough to get rid of a setback tomorrow)

''Oh yeah'' The mando paused after moving a pannel of fallen roof ''I fought gonks earlier...they had some weird tech that I can't make sense of.''

He turned to the scat droid

''Would you mind taking a look?''

"I most certainly could! Weird how? Like components you've never seen before or did they arrange parts in ways that are questionable at best."

Richo reached into the folds of his armor and drew a singular looking axe

''By all accounts...this should not work as nothing more then a heavy club but it acted like a vibro-weapon''

Average.

Everyone's favorite geezer droid knows a thing or 2 about Jury Rigging.

D1 MN, Mechanics/Intelligence what is up with this club, Average Difficultty: 2eP+1eA+2eD 2 successes, 2 advantage

What in the hell is this guy talking about? It's missing so many parts that a vibro weapon should have, you'd consider it a joke if it wasn't coming from a Mando.
"Only guess I would have is those guys you fought have the force and move it really fast. Jedi don't bother with such a tactic because lightsabers are just better."

''They seemed human to me...they moved like anybody else no any faster.'' he crossed his arms thinking ''A patrol of four, all with this equipment...can't all have the Force'' he shook his head ''There is something going on here''

This unit is indeed mystified. The properties of a device are usually reflected in its parts, and are usually repeatable. Have you been able to make it vibrate, --TOBOGA--?

''I tried but I am no technician so I might have missed something''

He then turned the axe around trying to find the switch to 'activate' the thing

There is a pretty prominent button to push to turn it on, so there is that. As you push the button, it does in fact vibrate a little in your hand, albeit very gently. There doesn't seem to be any means to increase the intensity, though. At least, as far as you can tell. Just keeps going at that soft pace.

After running for a minute, the vibration begins to sputter and it eventually turns off just as unimpressively as it turned on. Any further attempts to turn it back meet with no response from the device.

Initial excitement fades to disappointment.
*ooooOOOOOO! ...oh.*

Perhaps it is battery-powered.
