Work Begins [Day 2, LM-EE]

Mara Kayde and her people have asked for the assistance of those gathered in bringing a new life into an old and abandoned printing press. As they'd searched through many locations they were surprised to find this one still had generators in the basement which could be made operational. A pet project that Mylar had set out for himself to figure out if he could get it running again. However, that is not the only work that needs doing. While Mylar and those with a technical mindset work on getting the place operational again there is plenty of other opportunity for others to put in the work and make this place habitable again.
Plenty of old tools might be found behind locked doors in storage sheds and the like. While Mylar can't be certain what tools exactly might still have been left behind there is hope they'll find enough to make the effort worthwhile. Meanwhile, Mara has asked those with a bit more muscle to them to do what they can in clearing the rubble out of the place. While it might not be the most glamorous of the jobs available it is one that everyone will be thankful for in the end.
Event:
Any check made during this event is at a base of Average difficulty. Triumphs may be used to upgrade the check of the next roller, add an additional point to the total, or create a secondary benefit for the roller.
Threats and Advantage will be used on a 2 to 1 scale granting boosts or setback to the next roller.
Success' add 2 points to the total.
3+ Success' add an additional point.
5+ Success' add another additional point.
The total points needed to determine the level of success will not be made available. Please feel free to use any triumphs earned as you please.
Mechanics (Intellect) will be used to show a character working directly with Mylar in getting the place up and running again.
Skulduggery (Cunning) will be used to show a character working on getting some of the secure rooms open through various methods/means.
Athletics (Brawn) will be used to show a character working on clearing much of the rubble that is found within and around the abandoned facility.

Breakfast done, Jaxom took a look around. Finding a storage shed, he spent a few moments with the lock. Soon it was open and its contents were ready for use.

In the evening, the Mandalorian woman arrived to help out.
With the coverings and cloak removed to avoid getting in the way while she worked, the beskar'gam was on full display as she helped with the heavy lifting that had been left for the muscle-folks. Her efforts certainly made the job easier for the other tasks that needed to be done.

In the evening, the Mandalorian Techie arrives with a huge spanner wielding it like a mace.
"I heard about a generator that needs fixing..." As he starts down the stairs to the basement. "I bring all the tools." He gets to work and does the great he can for the generator.

Korvin quickly guesses that he'll be most effective in seeking anything cunningly hidden -- or accidentally hidden among the rubble and junk being cleared by others. Aside from investigating one place that another worker had flagged as curious, the young man basically kept to himself. He looked very much like a hunter on a mission, though he had little idea what he was really looking for.

With a beepity-beepity-boop, FX-12 set to tidying the place up much like an enormous, very sharp medical fairy god-droid. Rubble was dispersed, dust was dusted, surfaces were sterilized, the better to prevent nasty infections that so often prey upon hapless organics. Many arms made light work.

Though it was outside of her usual bailiwick, Aanli managed to look up some old tech manuals on some of the equipment present, and tried to make herself useful tech teching the tech tech, she mostly spent a lot of time familiarizing herself with things and accomplishing little.

Zimrzala came back to the place she had explored with the Mirialan biker the day before to find it in a very different shape. She looked at those actually installing the necessary equipment and get it all in working order with some admiration and a good deal of confusion, and decided to join those moving all the rubble out of the way instead.
She was definitely not as strong or effective as the fittest members of the crowd gathered around, but was still surprisingly effective for a slim-framed Mikkian - likely in part due to her almost trance-like focus on the task.

Petra was right, she didn't have anything to do this morning, not really. And there *could* be something interesting in those old rooms...antiques to sell to the museum, or tourists, for example.
Having snuck into and out of many a window, Dhel quickly IDs one that's in a style to be easily shifted from its frame.
Unfortunately, it's old, and heavy, and drops out of the frame with crash.
The moldering piles of paper inside were _not_ interesting antiques though.

Sol would swear up and down that he was a mechanic. (He
waaaaassss). He'd even brung along his toolkit to help with wiring and whatnot. And then...he had seen the labor force that had been tasked with clearing rubble.
"Suffering Sith! Who told you to try to lift like that? Lock your back, engage your knees! Do you want to be stuck in the infirmary." He motions to the group to clear aside, grabbing a crowbar that a droid had left nearby and jamming into under a particularly dangerous piece of rubble. "Once it moves, use the slats to guide it down.
Sol empties his mind, remembering his training as he let the Force flow through his body. Not jacking his muscles, just letting him be more...him.
The boulder teeters, but then slowly continues down a controlled path, Sol running to help each stage of the guide slats. With his grit, his labor crew makes a
lot of progress.

BXE-322 was a combat machine, not meant for anything but to fight in battles. So there was nothing much that it could do to help, except using its gears and servomotors to help the organics with cleaning the area with raw strength.
Even though the droid looked quite thin, the strength that it had was not apparent from its frame. B-series droid did had lot of strength and now BXE-322 was showing exactly that..

Phroth preferred to get things started early. A little calisthenics, some stretches. Then, finding the area that needed support, he began to lift.

After her day out, Soleene settled back at the abandoned printing press to do some work. She glad that there was still a lot of work left for her to do as it would have been lousy to miss out on chipping in. The heat was a big issue and she imagined that was going to be the case for the entirety of her stay. She gulped down some water and cleverly decided to work in the shade. Thanks to the efforts of a few throughout the day, she was able to work into the crevices of the building to dig deep into some rubble and toss it all into the pile with the others. It was laborious and tiring work but she managed to build a good pace that she didn't ruin the rest of the day with any pulled muscles.
"It already feels like we're turning this around! Well, this is the easy part."
