Also seeing the nod, Raven gave a friendly wave to Dhel. "Mm, you could say that. I'm a fan of her singing, but yeah, I guess we're friends? She's sweet."

Deo nodded "certainly have a lot to answer for." He took a drink and looked back at Dhel for a second before looking to Raven "certainly has a nice voice. Makes this a nice place to come sometimes."

"Music is a nice way to relax." There was a sense of solemn yearning in her voice. "And I like listening to singing... and hers is different than what I'd hear from my brothers and sisters. None of us are really accomplished singers but I supposed the enthusiasm and spirit makes up for the lack of skill."

She laughed a little and shook her head. "Kriff, I'm getting homesick now. Feels like I've been gone for much longer than a month. Do you have somewhere that you're homesick for, or is Bellionas home for you?"

Dhel laughs before taking a drink, brows lifting in silent appreciation of the well-made cocktail. "We definitely need to see that one then. Why would they do that?"

To Korvin's question, she adds. "I don't know that we're organized enough to say we manage it regularly, but sometimes?"

"Have to see if Cutey owns the sequels then. He doesn't seem like he'd be an 'original only' purist type."

She snagged her beer the moment it arrived.

Dhel smiles at Raven's wave and laughs at Korvin's question. "That'd be Manny. Not sure how he missed out on an egg-related nickname, honestly."

She grinned and took a swig of her beer.

He looked into his drink for a moment swirling the liquid "I...guess Bellionas is the closest thing I've had. the place I've stayed the longest in a while. Don't really think I have a true home."

A part of her briefly considered asking Dhel for singing lessons, for fun, but she'd hate to indebt herself more.

"Is that so?" There was a look of sympathy to her gaze. "Well... nothing wrong with moving around a lot. My people have mostly been nomadic through the millenia. Home is where you make it to be, whether it's the people you're with, or where you feel like you want it to be. Personally I'd say it's the people that make it home."

There was a longer pause "Haven't had people in a long time. Just me." There was a sadness in his voice. Pain. But it was muted like an old wound healed over again and over again one that throbs but in the background. A dull pulsing pain quickly forgotten in the next drink.

He clears his throat "but I get by fine."

"Not like I'm going to spend them tonight. Split them later, as long as you don't buy Blue Sunrise here some new swoop spoilers or something."

Korvin is saved from making an unhelpful comment about the cute guy that owns the ship by the quickness of the women's conversation.

"Ride?" He seems to genuinely question it, but he winks at Sho and then says warmly, "Yes. Always." He hugs Dhel with one arm while reaching for the drink with the other.

"No spoilers. Got it." She nods to Sholua and leans forward to pluck up the drink just ahead of Korvin. "So...you're driving right?" She grins. "How much of this one do you need to not drink to avoid piloting Ruby while tipsy?"

He looks at Dhel in mock betrayal, mouth slightly open. "I would never drive tipsy and endanger my most precious cargo," he says sternly, tickling up along her side.

Her skin shivers under his fingers as she laughs, holding the drink out a bit to keep it steady. "Sooo...are you saying this isn't strong enough to be a worry? Or should I finish it, just to be on the safe side?"

"You go ahead with it," he says with a grin. "I'll get a last taste before we go," Korvin says as a blue finger gently touches her lips, "and I'm sure you'll be perfectly safe the rest of the night."

She lifts the glass in a bit of a toast as she bites at his finger, grinning. "For certain definitions of safe, yes."

Glancing to Sholua, she wobbles the glass a bit. "If you want some before I finish it..."
