"Oh hey... you....!" Manny said, giving the Mandalorian woman (probably) a wave and an enthusiastic smile. "Uh... Soleene, right? From the wedding?" He was, like, 90% sure. All Mandos looked the same... that was okay to say, right? "That's cool. How's it going?"

"And hey there!" He greeted the new guy. "Comrade? Sorry, I don't speak Mandalorian yet. But hey, good to meet you. Manny Donos. I'm a magician." He nodded.

''Well met Manny Donos!'' He big guy extended a hand towards the human, curious about his last statement

''Magician you say? Like a Jedi or like a Force witch?''

[Manny Donos]

Manny gave whatever shape of hand he was offered a fist-bump.

"No way, nothing like that." Manny said easily. "You know, a magician. I do magic! Like this!" He raised both hands, palms out, fingers waggling. Then he clapped them together, separating them again. With a flourish, he offered the man an egg that he hadn't been holding before.

"She's a magician, too." Manny jerked a thumb back towards Tyllia. "Two in the same meeting! What are the odds of that, huh?"

''Odd custom'' he took the offered fist and shook it

Then an egg appeared

Richo stared at the object, then at Manny, then back at the object

''A conjurer!'' he deduced

She raised a brow at the Mandalorian's question. Not a lot of people who talked about such things anymore, after all. The brow was raised again; or perhaps simply stayed in place but somehow made its presence known again; when Manny thumbed in her direction with the statement she was a magician too.

Tyllia rolled her eyes; as if signing the mandalorians a 'this guy's a trip, huh?'

She then shrugged. "He's very impressive."

"That's right. Soleene, from this morning," she with a nod. There might have been a hint of annoyance in her tone as she didn't think it was too long ago since they made acquaintance.

She supposed he was trying to impress a girl here. When the egg was produced out of thin air, she merely gave a few nods. Her reaction was hidden behind her helmet.

"Yes, very impressive," she said a touch dryly.

Manny beamed, being praised all around, and being basically incapable of detecting annoyance, irony, or sarcasm. "And look, away it goes!" He clapped his hands together, and the egg disappeared again.

"Anyway... seems like we can all do stuff. Two magicians. Two Mandalorians. Hey, two and two." Smiling, he pointed two fingers at the Mandalorians, and then at him and Tyllia. "And then a cool robot and a Bothan! Seems like we've got a lot of skills to get this thing going, huh?"

[FX-12]

*Boop!* FX-12 said in agreement.

"Yeah, this guy gets it!" This time, Manny definitely offered the robot a fistbump.

''Does the fist bump have some significance in your culture?'' Richo could'nt help but ask ''It seems you do that above and despite other forms of greetings''

"Right..." she said with a restrained sigh.

At least Manny did somehow steer them back on the point of the meeting. She gave a glance around the room, it was certainly missing a few more familiar Mandalorians, so she supposed they would probably catch up later. There were likely far more than this room involved at the very least. "More than a few, at the very least. I'm going to assume that this is going to be some sort of low numbers and nighttime operation. Nothing really says unsanctioned party like a bunch of people gathering at an old press for no reason. We'll be lucky if those Imperial toss us in the drunk tank for that."

"Yeah, this guy gets it!" This time, Manny definitely offered the robot a fistbump.

The droid tentatively extends its grabbing-hand, it being the least sharp of its many limbs, to receive Manny's fist bump. There is a soft *boop,* then a heavy *click* before a deep, soothing woman's voice emenantes from somewhere deep within the droid:

"It appears that you have a [[MINOR CUT]]. Please listen carefully and follow these instructions to treat your [[MINOR CUT]], keep it clean, and prevent infections and scars. First, wash your hands with soap and water to eliminate bacteria. Second, stop the bleeding by putting pressure on the cut with a gauze pad or cloth for a few minutes. Once you've stopped bleeding, it is time to clean the wound. Rinse the wound under cool water or use a saline around the wash. Clean the area around the wound with soap and a wet wash-cloth. Do not get soap in the cut, because it can irritate the skin, and that may upset you. If you do these things, your cut will have been successfully treated, and you will need no further medical attention. Please alert [[FX-12 OR ANOTHER LICENSED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL if you cannot stop the bleeding. Thank you."

And then a bunch of instructions came from the medical robot. Manny stared at it, jaw dropped.

"Uhhh... thanks. Got it. Wash my hands with soap and bacteria, put pressure on a sailing cloth, don't get irritated or upset, and then I'll be all better?"

Richo reflexively took a light step back from Manny...I mean...he knew he was not the sharpest knife in the sheathe but even he understood the protocols of hand washing. At least the other mando made sense.

''I would agree with your appraisal...perhaps teams, rotations or schedules could be formed?''

"Yeah! It's cool!" Manny nodded. "That's why- ouch!" He flinched as his hand contacted something sharp.

"Ohhhhhhh... okay. I got it." Manny nodded, pressing the very small cut with his hand. "Yeah. Totally. I'm all over it now."

His face lit up. "And hey, you got my name! That's awesome! Up high, bro!" He raised his fist for the robot to bump again.

She blinked once. Maybe twice. This *had* to be an act. Right?

FX-12 backed up slightly. This unit advises --MANNY-- not to greet this unit in that fashion.

FX-12 rose up to its full height to look down on Manny's cranium, just to see if there was any bruising.

[Dr. Aanli Ven]

Aanli stepped forward to take care of the cut. "Fortunately, I am a medical professional. Show me your hand, please."

A little spritz of disinfectant and a bandage with with little lothcats playing with yarn should do it.

"So, we have a great many talents on display, I see. But do any of them involve printing presses or radios?"

Soleene gave a few nods at J-Richo. "Something to that effect. Maybe not too organized and regular, that's something more fitting for conspicuous outfits. Probably something more coincidental. Well, that's probably more for someone else to figure out. I'll be more the muscle in this operation."

So much for just being seasonal help.

"The hard part is probably keeping something running so that the radio stays in one piece...but I did run into a peculiar looking droid who might have a knack for that stuff. Slices and fixes, apparently. Nimbo, I believe?" she said as she glanced around to see if that rung a bell with any of the locals here.
