Vexing recommendations (D1 EA)

Leah didn't mean to give Vexs last words so much thought; someone she knew, on a planet she'd never been to, at a casino?

Still, she had to put some distance between herself and the others for a short while so they weren't actively being associated with each other. Or something. She'd also never been to a proper casino before...so her first time approaching was daunting at least. The feel, the taste in the air, everything about the place screamed money and greed. It was nearly overwhelming for the young Twi'lek!

Taking a few moments to focus, she approached and once allowed in (she had made sure to dress 'nicely') she would begin her search.

A young human woman with blonde hair approached Leah as she entered. Around her the establishment was grand and the soft sounds of gentile chatter filled the hall. Holding up the small machine in her hand the woman gave Leah a small smile and dipped her head. It was a simple affair, something she could key an account onto and it would run the necessary check to insure she had enough to be betting here. Was just a matter of submitting the required information.

Leah smiled to the woman, and was happy to key in the correct information so that she could be allowed in.

(ooc - I assume Vex wouldn't have given me an account to use? I have enough funds on my own but just checking )

"Thank you miss," the young woman gave her a bright smile. Checking in on the information after Leah entered it she scanned through the readout before giving her another warm smile. "All appears to be in order," she steps to the side and opens her up toward the casino.

"Welcome to the Corellian Run."

"Thank you! It's very cool" Leah looked around "so uh...my first time here ever. Any recommendations?"

She was more looking out for faces or people she might know, but when in a casino need to blend in right?

[Meiyokashi]

"Most patrons prefer the card tables over to the right and down the stairs. Though just as many prefer the betting rings off to the left and up the stairs where lounging may be done while waiting for the results. Otherwise, might I suggest taking a stop by the bar if nothing else peaks your interest? There are, of course, the slot machines scattered throughout the establishment as well," she recited off with a put on cheer.

"So much happening! Thank you for your advice" Leah gave the woman a smile, admiring her cheer. If only it wasn't so crowded she might be able to find her way around...

"I'll take a walk around and see what takes my fancy. Have a lovely day" she gave the girl a small wave, then started to walk around.


D1 EA casino - perception at hard with setback: 1eP+2eA+1eS+3eD 1 failure, 1 threat

Parting from the woman Leah took her walk around the establishment but was instead more taken in by the glitz and glamor of it all. People from the highest walks of life gambling stacks of chips which were worth far more than most credit sticks she'd ever seen. Mostly humans, and even a fair few that she could make out to be Imperials wearing both different attire and their officer uniforms dotted the crowds.

Unfortunately, no one in particular stuck out to her.
