(D5 LA) Repurposing Mother's Stuff

[Varina Ordo]

"I have friends," Varina said. "What makes you think I don't have friends? I came with my best one to help her out here." She resettled the duffle bag and continued walking. "Best way I can do that is if I have better tools for it."

[Meiyokashi]

"Which one was that? One that called you a child? Didn't look like it to me when you were in the dirt alone.." she says, her voice trailing off as she glances away. Looking out to the sky above, the almost orange color it held. Out here there weren't many birds, and even fewer clouds, just leaving that mix of one color across the sky. Quietly, to herself, she murmurs, "Some friends."

[Varina Ordo]

"Well, sometimes friends fight," Varina said, her cheeks flushed bright red. "I'm sure it happens all the time in the Salky Raiders too." She kicked up some of the dirt and looked back. "I gotta get outta here anyways and give this thing a shot."

[Meiyokashi]

"Maybe I just saw a bad cut.." she offered, relenting to give a little peace. Looking back to Varina she glanced down at the bag, smiled. Stepping forward toward her she raised a hand and indicated a path she could see between one of the fighters and a freighter. "See that rock over there? Marks a path I use to sneak away sometimes.. and the spotters know it, so it's safe."

Two steps back away she gave Varina room, "Have fun with it," she added with a smirk.
