''It is an option.'' he nodded ''My last interaction with Soleene's sister, Raven, was not a smooth one however. I wonder how they would take it''

"I've met her...how "not smooth" are you talking about?" Solork's brow furrows. "She is very influential. When I was captured on Kamda I was saved because I was part of the same prison transport. We were freed by her brothers and sisters in arms... there is a large contingent that respects her."

''Influencial perhaps but she seems to be an ultra-conservative in the religious sense. She left saying she did not recognize me as mando'ade even without knowing that I am a droid''

"Well..." Sol shakes his head. "That does not bode well for her helping us. It's odd though, and maybe it's from an incomplete reading of Mandolorian history but" his voice is almost apologetic. "It would appear that a large amount of Mandalore's wars have been over clashes over what is a "correct" Mandalorian. One would think that the diversity would make one more open to the idea that there are divergent opinions"

"I believe it has to do with the tenet of Mandalorian culture about having to follow the Mandolore. If differing ideologies have different leaders, they will fight to decide who is the rightful leader. This has been the case with many conflicts throughout galactic history."

[Solork Tan]

"I suppose...but then by that logic, the Emperor is the truest Mandaolore. After all, he wields the most might and sets policy." Solork stuffs food into his mouth. "I would not go looking for a fight with them. Perhaps remind them of our shared common enemy...and be prepared if they are unwilling to recognize us as peers"

[The SCaT Droid]

"But are we not fighting the Empire right now? We don't have the resources to take on the Emperor directly, but we can take away resources he has. I have a feeling we'll find someone who can fight the emperor eventually, it's just a matter of getting the right circumstances to line up."

[Solork Tan]

"That is the common enemy of which I speak." Sol nods, mostly to himself. "One that has dashed every splinter group that has risen against it. Perhaps if we can convince them that strange bedfellows are better than a bed that is on fire."

He pauses.

"Perhaps not "us" when I say "we*. The argument would likely be better served by someone whose best analogy is not "bed on fire"

''First of all the Mandal'ore must be mandalorian, no question about it, so the Emperor is out. One can claim the title but proving worthy of it is a task of for legend...To unify our people now is nigh impossible.''

he paused

''From what I got from Caderra, there are three people claiming the title now''

The Gank is surprised by the bear hug but embraces him back. He turns to Zim, smiling under his new helm.

"I apologize for springing this on you. I wanted people I trust to be here and those are in short supply right now"

The Mikkian keeps silent while the droids and Sol talk, paying attention to their words. To Sol's words, though, she answers specifically, with a low nod and a friendly smile.

"I'm truly honoured to be among those you invited, Shan'gdi Solork", she answers, using the Galandan word for 'brother'. "I'm... curious about the path you've chosen to follow. But what I said before stands - I trust we have much to learn from each other."

His reply was swift "A bunch of idiots drunk on their own bloodlust, now dogs to the Empire. Not all who swears the oath adhere to its spirit or know Honor."

The Mikkian keeps silent while the droids and Sol talk, paying attention to their words. To Sol's words, though, she answers specifically, with a low nod and a friendly smile.

"I hope so too" The Gank's tone is friendly. "The path I had hoped to walk to be a Guardian closed. I believe this is a new one"

"Well, I look forward to looking through the code once I have the backup ready and I think I've learned a fair bit about computer programming to try to remove a primary directive. I'll probably just need someone around while I do it just in case I can't restore myself."

"Thank you, and I will likely try to change my programming once we get a couple of days without all this crazy stuff going on. I could use someone around to make sure nothing goes wrong."

"Great, and I could teach you a thing or 2 about computers in return?"

The BX droid snorted

''I am not sure it is worth the time...I am not optimised for that.'' he oiled a joint ''But we could check if improvements can be make on my weapon''

"I could do that, any particular upgrades you have in mind?"

"I hope so too" The Gank's tone is friendly. "The path I had hoped to walk to be a Guardian closed. I believe this is a new one"

Zim nods at the new Mandalorian, a friendly smile still on her face. She felt they would have some more to talk about after this, but for now she kept her ears open for the ongoing conversation. She hadn't heard much about the other Mandalorians in the planet... but an alliance to stand against the Emperor sounded important.

It sounded very much like a lot of bloodshed, too, which troubled her greatly. But... how could peace be reached with a tyrant in power?

She kept silent, breathing more deeply, and heard what the others said.
