[Day 1 - Late Afternoon] The Locals

[Deonis Harik]

"I think it would be tough to miss how many Mandos are on planet now. We'd only ever had a few and they are mostly a rag tag group. These new ones are unified follow one guy, much more troubling." He replied looking between the two

[Nimbo Toda]

"Not so troubling to me. They don't seem to mess with anyone really, as far as I can tell."

[Soleene Stryss]

"When talking about Mandalorians, you'll have to be very specific, unfortunately," she said with a possible frown in her tone. "Like, are we talking about ones who wandered in from parts unknown, follow Mandalore or those who are the Imperial lapdogs? This could all mean different things. I take it that you're talking about the ones with Mandalore and what's the issue there?"

[Deonis Harik]

Deonis shook his head "Not an issue that they follow Mandalore just an unknown quantity on the planet. Unknowns make me nervous." He looked to Soleene "No offense if that's your group just as you said Mandalorians can be a mixed bag. Any new group can be anything. If they are just doing their own thing, good. If they are allies even better."

[Soleene Stryss]

"Unknow quantity? Are you sure you're seeing what you're seeing there? It's sometimes surprising to see the number of visors that may look Mandalorian around the galaxy. Maybe some old Imperial surplus?" She brought up with a slight tilt of her head.

Soleene sighed and gave a shake of her head. "Well, you have nothing to worry about us. We may have our methods but we intend to do good. Actually, we hope to do something with the Mandalorians who are causing trouble with descentfolk. The sort who are Imperial lapdogs."

[Deonis Harik]

"I've seen my share of the galaxy and I've seen a fair share of different Mandalorians. Some are good honorable warriors others are bloodthirsty fighters just out to prove they are the baddest around and some are just in it for the coin and glory." He shrugged "maybe some of the people I met weren't true Mandos but it's hard to tell all the time."

He nodded "but it's good you're here to help. Id much prefer allies than anything else right now. We need all the help we can get."

[Soleene Stryss]

"Well, there's a spectrum, I admit," she said with a bob of her head. "I know the ones I'm with are aiming for the just causes, especially under the leadership of Mandalore. Help? Yeah, we're most likely here to help. I've heard a little of what's going on around here, perhaps you could give me your perspective about it? I don't want to go around rattling cages until I know who resides in each one."

[Deonis Harik]

"Not out here." He turned and motioned for them to follow him back towards his ramshackle residence.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene gave a glance at Nimbo before she followed Deonis to his residence. Well, this was one way to get some local hospitality or walk into a trap. She supposed she'll find out soon enough.

Deonis stooped to enter the door and left it open behind him. The inside wasn't very different from the out cobbled together, scavenged, and a little small. It was one room bed on one side with a sink on the other a small table and chair near the middle and a crate in the corner.

Deonis' helmet brushed the ceiling as he moved and sat on the durasteel crate in the corner motioning them to sit where they like. "Imperial occupation is a problem. one they've been working to cut off. don't have the man power to do so. Main issue is the Imps. cracked down hard after Kamda. Also the gonks and raiders down here but that's a lower district problem not a Bellionas one." He had a clipped and direct way if speaking not wasting any words as his gruff modulated voice explained the situation as he saw it.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene entered the home after Deonis and stood at the doorway to wait for Nimbo before closing the door behind the droid. She took a long look at the place. It was a bit on the poor side but it was homey at least.

After a moment, she nodded in appreciation and continued on to find a seat. "Hrm, yeah, I heard something about Kamda not going all that well. Would like to hear more of the story than the short version. Everyone's got an Imperial problem in the galaxy, unfortunately...How big is the Imperial garrison here?"

[Deonis Harik]

"No luck here. Wasn't there. Only have rumors and stories. As for the Imperial garrison, can't be sure. A lot. Enough to regularly patrol the districts. I'm just a set of muscles really you'd have to talk to the information people."

[Soleene Stryss]

She nodded soundly at that, "Well, I guess I'll just have to ask for the full story another time. Okay then, what's been done around here? I know there are a few others around here who are looking to do the same thing. Won't name names but pretty sure you must have some idea if this city is smaller than it looks."

[Deonis Harik]

The armored figure shrugged "Not much, I'm not really involved in big plans or decisions. I've helped out a bit here and there deliveries, moving things that needed moving. Not much has been done so far but I get the feeling with all these new arrivals that will probably change soon."

[Soleene Stryss]

"I do hope so. Now you've been so upfront about it. Believe it or not, a few Mandalorians and I have been recently roped into what's happening here by a few people in the know. Friend of a friend, I suppose. Of course, we're here for other things but it seems that someone thinks this is worth our involvement. Maybe a little more shoulders put into the job is enough to shove the momentum forward, huh?"

Soleene gave a look around the room at that thought. She didn't know how much she could change around here, if there are Imperials involved and such. It wasn't going to happen overnight just because they were involved. So long as they didn't have a Star Destroyer around, it should be doable, right?

[Nimbo Toda]

Nimbo followed along, mostly quiet and listening. "I've personally been doing small stuff as well. Helping slice external terminals and lifted datapads to grant access to cameras and data. I don't keep the info myself, just pass it off to others. Also done some mods on weapons and armor for folks. I do it for favors back and forth with the resistance, but credits for anyone that will pay. I'm not really the picky sort when it comes to jobs."

[Soleene Stryss]

She nodded and looked to the other two in the home. "Okay, so we're really more connected than we thought. Well, through a friend of a friend, I bet. Would either of you be tied to this Mara Kayde, then? That's the name I was referred to when I got here."

[Deonis Harik]

A mildly modulated grunt came from Donis "Mara's a good kid, a little idealistic. Most leaders are." From his tone the large man held a bit of respect for Mara

[Soleene Stryss]

"A kid? Are we talking about like a relative kid or an actual kid?" She asked curiously.

After a moment, she gave a shrug on the matter. It wasn't like all rebellions or resistance cells could afford to have senate leaders or military officers under their leadership all the time. Sometimes, they just had to start small somewhere. "Well, whoever she is, I'm sure she's at least doing something around here to get people to rally together."

A snort "A young woman. She's in her early 20s. She might actually be older than me, I'm not sure."

"Yeah from what I learned her family has always been into activism. Brother went missing not long ago. She's driven to fight how she can."
