"Oh man..Petra kept hanging out there? Was she climbing the walls with boredom by then?. And yeah, Twi'lek with these honey cookie things. Kind of sticky, but really tasty." Dehl wonders how much more time Petra spent trying to clean up over there today. After breaking that window, she'd looked around a bit, but slipped away for other pursuits pretty early on. "Looks like a lot of interest in radio and such at least. Many hands...light work...someithing like that."

She shakes her head at the woman's question. "No, don't get a lot of musical droids here. They're all...medical and construction mostly, I think. And those lot are pretty focused on their work it seems like. But I ran into that one at the museum the other day, so they're traveling." She lowers her voice. "Though...they look a lot like the ones I see in vids from the War. So...I don't know if that means they had musical droids for some reason, or that's a fighting one that picked up music? If they, or you," she glances at the armored hand again, "want fighing, just keep it on stage. They don't like getting the tables wrecked. And folks usually tip pretty well to watch a brawl break out."

"She didn't seem bored to me, but perhaps she's good at hiding it," Raven smirked a little bit. Meetings were indeed boring and she wasn't sure if she could have lasted all evening like that herself. Thankfully Mand'alor liked to keep his speeches to the point. Most of the time.

As the droid joined their table, butting into the conversation they've been having, and then just leaving to do his own thing, the blue-eyed woman sighed and shook her head. Droids. "Yeah, does look something like from what you saw on the holos from that time. Maybe someone found it and reprogrammed it for fun... most end up as target-practice for kids. I'll keep in mind that about a fight though... not that I've ever fought on a stage before, but I like to think I could put on an impressive show of it, if the situation called for it. But for now," she didn't wink but she almost seemed like she might have, "I prefer to keep a lower profile than that."

"Doesn't it get hard for you to work here if fights break out often though?" she asked before taking another bite of the meat.

[Flession]

As if on cue, the two players immediately stand up and aim their blasters at the droid. "Hey, you!" Shouts one of the players to Dhelih. "Your place trying to run a scam with this droid. It clearly tried to cheat!"

They keep their blasters marked on the droid, making sure it didn't get away from them.

"Doesn't it get hard for you to work here if fights break out often though?" she asked before taking another bite of the meat.

Funny how some questions get answered for you.

As if on cue, the two players immediately stand up and aim their blasters at the droid. "Hey, you!" Shouts one of the players to Dhelih. "Your place trying to run a scam with this droid. It clearly tried to cheat!"

They keep their blasters marked on the droid, making sure it didn't get away from them.

The blasters aren't aimed at her so...ok, not an emergency yet. Deep breath, stand up (the better to dive under a table if needed)

"Just because I own the stage when I'm up there doesn't mean this place is mine, boys...Droid's as new here as you are." She points to the empty stage. "But the rules here are you take your fight on stage, and if you aren't reaaaaal sure of your aim, you might want to stick to like...fists and clubs, because the law gets tetchy when uninvolved patrons are getting shot." She aims a thumb back at one of the bouncers. Sure enough, their nametag reads "The Law"

Raven eyed the sudden situation with a seasoned wariness, expecting chaos to erupt soon as she reached for her helmet that was hanging from her belt (which had been neatly hidden from view under the table and cloak)...

Looking between the players and the ladies, the droid seems confused. Whether because it is in an unknown situation or because it cannot think of what to do at the moment, no one is sure of. (Moving scene along for more context)

The two drunkards stumble while looking over at the Droid. It was a flimsy droid. B1 mode too. They honestly looked like a strong breeze could blow it over.

One of them puts their blaster away and looks at him. "Fine, get on stage, droid. Beat your ass in front of everyone, you cheating sumabitch."

[Raven Cadera]

"Guess this is why they don't usually allow droids at gambling-scenes..." Raven remarked sourly, still keeping a wary eye on the scene. One hand was holding the helmet, partially covered by the table.

She very much looked ready to jump into action if the drunkards directed their ire at Dhel.

Dhel glances at her "They're not good at hiding their cheating?" She suspects everyone at the table was cheating. Doesn't everyone cheat at sabbac?

"This unit has a program to confirm whether or not it has learned to lie. For salvage operations, you must have be able to find threats and survivors. However those are also the skills of the 'unsavory folk' so to test it safely, we are to play games of this sort. My apologies for using you and not my mechanic, but I was granted a rare privilege to be out of my normal environment. It did not consider this out of the ordinary for organics."

The droid seemed sincere enough. Were droids deceptive beings? Raven had no idea. B1s she remembered mostly as target practice on some worlds, so they probably weren't that clever or cunning.

But something did seem slightly off about the droid (Threat), but she wasn't sure what.

"Hey, let the droid go," she remarked to the drunks. "Not gonna be much of a show anyway with two guys ganging up on a toaster."

The two drunks look over at Raven, and recognizing her as someone they didn't want to push at in their slightly inebriated state, looks at the droid. "Count your lucky stars, droid." And with that, they go back to their table that they were at to begin with and slumped down back in their chair.

[Raven Cadera]

She eyed them as they returned to their chairs, certain that things had de-escalated...

... Then Raven sighed and put her helmet away again, only to pick up her drink and take a big gulp that nearly drained the glass. "Guess that settles it then."

The droid then approaches the ladies and makes a bowing motion. "Sorry for the trouble, anything I can do to make it up to you?"

Anyone who knows Dhel would be surprised that she shakes her head. "That one was all on Raven here." If she ordered anything more, she suspected she'd burst something after all the various meals she'd gotten today.

"Pretty sure everyone cheats. Or nobody does, but it's a good excuse for a fight, since at least half the brawls here seem to start that way." She sits back down, pushing the last bit of her stew aside. "Interesting music though. Haven't heard it before...is it kind of mainly a droid thing?"

"Think nothing of it. It was no loss for me, and I stand by that it would hardly have been sporting." Raven brushed it off with a casual wave of her armored hand.

"Is it really common to cheat though? I don't play games of chance myself."

[Dhelih Dotaivi]

Dhel shrugs, looking to the droid for a more experienced answer. "There are lots of accusations of it, and fights. I've only actually been looking at the right moment to see someone slip a card out of their sleeve once...and she did it well enough that nobody said anything." Dhel pauses "Course, she was making really good use of her other assets to keep most eyes at the table off her sleeve."

Anyone who knows Dhel would be surprised that she shakes her head. "That one was all on Raven here." If she ordered anything more, she suspected she'd burst something after all the various meals she'd gotten today.

"Pretty sure everyone cheats. Or nobody does, but it's a good excuse for a fight, since at least half the brawls here seem to start that way." She sits back down, pushing the last bit of her stew aside. "Interesting music though. Haven't heard it before...is it kind of mainly a droid thing?"

"Yes, binary is a language that all droids know. It doesn't require vocal cords so it can be done by every droid I've ever met."

"But speaking doesn't necessarily mean singing, yeah? Definitely lots of mmm...no-droids? Bio-people?" Dhel had never really considered what the broader category of non-droid sapients would be called. "Anyway, a lot of them don't like to sing in public."

She notes the avoidance of the topic of cheating. Suspecting that it might not want to say anything incriminatory, she just leaves it. She wasn't likely to worry all that much about cheating at gambling in the near future in any case.

"The term you're looking for is organics. That's what we droids call non droids; of course some of the meaner ones would use the word 'flesh bags'." The droid takes a look around, then leans in a little. "Most droids aren't sapient enough to decide to do things solely for themselves."
