"Singing's a gig. If he comes and joins the performance, yeah, that's a gig." Dhel pops the chocolate in her mouth, thinking. "I never made up a word for the whole trading sexual favors for stuff and places to sleep. Kind of like an unspoken contract? So I guess he's that?" She looks thoughtful. "Maybe I'd call it a gig if it were just flat out offering for credits? But then I'd feel like I had to keep on with it if there were credits on offer, even if it wasn't fun or interesting for me?"

Pulling her hand back, shifting her hand around to pick out one from any of the chocolate she was given into her mouth. Petra focused on the recipes and found one but distracted herself by focusing on her thought. Laying the datapad into her chest she looked over to Dhel, "So.. big question, you planning on leaving again soon already then?"

Dhel pauses, sack of sugar in hand. "hmmm...I don't think so. It's a ship, but he's not traveling-on-mommy's-money rich. So no offers of a galactic tour here."

She continues working the sack open, pauses again to flash a triumphant smile. "Hah! You did miss me, didn't you!" The grin remains as she sets the sack down, then rummages in a drawer for a large spoon. "You have a recipe though? I'm ready to start"

"Shut uuuuppp," she groaned, pulling the recipes back up. Hint of the smile hidden behind her leaning forward with the datapad and holding it into Dhel's view. "But yea.. this one, it's.. a little different? Seems like it might be nice? Might be completely disappointing too but.." she shrugs, "guess it's the risk."

"Only way to know is to charge forward!" She raises the spoon in salute, stepping over to pass more chocolate and examine the recipe over Petra's shoulder. "ohhh, those oats will be interesting...

For at least the morning, Petra seemed to actually relax a little.
