As the drawer is unlocked, it comes sliding open with a loud noise and stops suddenly. With the weight of the few blasters still tucked into their positions but someone definitely heard that. They'll have to grab something quick before someone comes to check on it, and get outta here because three maintenance guys in a room like this.. probably isn't normal. Let alone with an open blaster cabinet...

SCaT wasn't expecting the desk by the computer to be a gun case. But at least he didn't make it worse before bolting himself.

"Oh dip." Manny muttered under his breath as he, too, left.

[Meiyokashi]

Unable to manage anything of use in the security room the team is forced back into their hiding hole. While they could wait here for a time for the individuals who came in to check things out and give a more thorough look, time was of the essence and Novars office was still some distance off.

[Manny Donos]

"Welp! Better get moving!" Unflappable, Manny put in a clear vote for moving on.

[Torr Po]

"That sucked," Torr sighed following Manny.

Off to the office, the doctor's note won't be there for long

Moving through the space they were in was incredibly uncomfortable to the sentients involved. Heat fluctuations meant someplaces they were sweating profusely and others they were cold as ice, the sweat feeling like it was freezing on their skin. However, they press onward and eventually find another small panel for access that they can use. Coming out through it this time they find themselves in a large refresher, a shower room? Regardless, they'd have to press on.

In order to climb all the way toward Novar's office, they'd have to get to an elevator. So they set out together through the room, passing by the showers and realizing this wasn't the mens and quickly beat foot out of there before they commit two crimes, one for which they would not be forgiven. However, they found themselves on the security deck and with attention being directed elsewhere were able to get into a secure lift straight to the top.

SCaT keeps his head up and checks each floor with his infrabinoculars before they pass it, hoping to give the group a head's up on any danger they may face on their way

[Manny Donos]

"This sucks..." Manny murmured, alternating between chattering teeth and sweating. Still, he gamely pressed on!

[Torr Po]

Thanks to Iron Skin training Torr upgrades from incredibly uncomfortable to just very uncomfortable. Still he visibly pants when it's hot, and bitches when its cold. "I m-m- miss my winter c-coat."

[Meiyokashi]

Alllllll the way up to the highest offices in the building they came up to a long hall, a left and a right, but the space here was large and carpeted. Decorations of some splendor marked the passages here but they knew Novar's officer was down the main walk out of the three possible direction. Nearby they found a waste-basket roller to blend in a little as they approach the office in question. However, the door was locked.

"Alright magic man, looks like it's showtime."

"Nothing up my sleeve..." Manny said, pulling his lockpicks from his vest.

"Okay, come on stupid lock..." Grumbling, Manny struggled with the lockpick. "Do I need the next size, or..."

As Manny messes with the door, trying to get in, a trooper in more pleasant wear approaches and looks over the crew. Focusing on Manny, seeing him struggle, "Everything alright here?" he asks, uncertain.

"Yep, just doing regular preventative maintenance, can't have the top brass using bad equipment ever right? Let me just use a little WD-40, that usually clears up door jams like this." He then opens a compartment near his maintenance kit and squirts a little oil in the door, as if to show they are actually fixing stuff.
