"For someone who loves speed, every time is a good time for a ride." He smirked in brighter manner than before, as excitement kicked in. "Hop on, and hold fast."

[Soleene Stryss]

"I take it that you don't get a lot of traffic jams here but all right, I'm riding if you're offering," she chuckled and hopped on board, holding on as suggested. If he was half as fast as he was enthusiastic about his hobby, it was bound to be a speedy ride.

[Qar Offee]

"Just tell me where to. It'll be difficult to talk during the ride." He smirked, having revved the engine.

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene chuckled. "Right. Here I thought I could vaguely point and wave during the ride. All the fun of being a backseat driver. Okay, not really. But it shouldn't be too far. It's over at Restaurant Alley around here. Koor street on the side, I think."

[Qar Offee]

"All the more reason to make the most of the ride." They darted off with no further warning, the felt acceleration something close to 2G, especially laterally at the first turn. Then it was just incredibly fast, with Qar deftly swerving around obstacles and taking corners at precise angles. The bike seemed easy to handle when he was doing it, obeying his will. It well-seemed that the high-velocity world was one he naturally inhabited, his senses attuned to it way better than to the unfortunate slo-mo most sapient species take as default. Needless to say, they were at the destination in no time, though deceleration was gentler, an expected courtesy, but also saving Qar's back from the sharp kinks of the Mando armour.

While it wasn't exactly riding gear, Soleene did at least have her own helmet for the ride. At the speeds that Qar was going, she was thankful that she had something for the acceleration and found herself holding on. The ride was pretty cool, however, in more ways than one. That could be one way to cool off on this planet at least.

"Yeah, just right here. Whew, you weren't kidding," she chuckled as she got off the ride.

[Qar Offee]

"You came around looking for the real thing, so I wanted to give you a taste of just that." Qar smirked, combing his hair with his hand back into some order as he'd been riding only in goggles. "Hope you got bitten by the speed bug."

[Soleene Stryss]

Soleene turned her head quizically for a moment and looked down at herself, namely the armour that she was wearing. "I don't know if this speed bug can get to me."

"But that I did and thank you." She chuckled afterward. "Maybe I'll get myself a ride eventually, or a jetpack. I'll be lying if I said I never considered the latter..."

"Anyway," she said after breaking from that thought. "I'm going to head out, Qar, see you around."

[Qar Offee]

"When I see you soaring, I'll take some credit." He chuckled and made a salute-like farewell gesture. 'See you around, Soleene." He then rode away, with the same hunger for momentum she had just experienced, if not greater.
