Passing Strangers [D5, EE]

[Dr. Fianna Novar]

Walking out onto the street just outside of the Spire Dr. Novar looks to her right to assure Commander Talcik is with her before turning down the road. Dressed for a business meeting of sorta she moves along the rather busy street toward a waiting speeder. Outside the speeder a uniformed officer awaits with a few troopers yet before she can arrive there she's stopped abruptly.

[Petra]

Looking up as she bumped into the woman Petra's eyes went wide to see Novar looking down at her. "Oh- Kriff, sorry," she said, her voice lowered as she put her head down and tried to walk past her. Stopped by a strong hand forcefully placed on her shoulder.

[Meiyokashi]

"Stop right there, street rat," the womans voice held that command in her tone. Holding Petra still with barely any effort. Other hand reaching down her side and hovering over her blaster. Looking up to check with Novar the other woman approached to Petra's side.

[Dr. Fianna Novar]

"Settle down commander," Novar said with a patience to her tone. Looking to Commander Talcik with a brief smile which settled the soldier's stance. The commander letting Petra go she stepped back but left her hand hovering over her blaster. Meanwhile, Novar placed her own hand more gently on Petra's shoulder with a light smile.

"You are darling, aren't you," she gave Petra a look over, bringing her other hand up and brushing her cheek. There was a small thought that passed across her expression before she refocused on Petra, "Be more careful next time, hmm?" she smiled, and then let Petra go.

[Petra]

"Y-yea, of course," she stammered out, looking between Novar and the commander. Checking she was free to go which both older women confirmed. Lowering her head Petra once more took off down the street at a brisk pace.

[Dr. Fianna Novar]

Novar watched the girl go until she passes the commander and shifts her gaze to the other woman as she does. "Ready to go Commander?" she asks, and the other woman assents. Each taking to their original step toward the vehicle. Walking around the outside the Commander goes to the driver to inform him of a few details while Novar herself speaks briefly with the officer. As the officer opens the door for herself Novar looks around curiously, patting herself down quickly as she searches for something.

"Commander," she says with a brief smile, the surprise of it washing over her, "you're going to have to find that girl."

As the Commander had come around the vehicle again to the womans side she needed only a moment to make sense of the situation and curse under her breath. Immediately she put one hand back on her blaster and another on her commlink, barking orders to everyone within range. As the troopers and officers saw Novar into the car Talcik made her way down the street. A few troopers already outside of the building joined Talcik as they began sweeping the streets.
