He was true to his word. He had waited after the mixer for her. The bike was always ready with the survival gear, so setting up a camp was easy. The rolling lands of the Badlands set up quite the scene, and now, he had found a spot. Different, in it's beauty, from the Cliffside duel.

[Meiyokashi]

While Phroth set up the camp Allura wandered around the surrounding area a little while. Leaving him for some time with her bag unattended but she had no qualms or worried. All around them the sounds of an active nightlife. Predators and prey, as Allura would view it, but they were certainly not the only ones awake. Eventually, she returned, a small lizard creature curling around her sleeved arm, Allura watching the little creature with an interest as it's tongue jumped and grabbed an insect flying nearby.

The fire was at a full roar when she returned. It would easily keep them warm through the night. He stood, rubbing his neck as he allowed himself to just feel the area around them. Almost sensing when Allura returned, his eyes opened, looking to the Inquisitor.

There was something natural to the way she moved with the lizard, an appeal to the demeanor she took.

It was dangerous, to be here with her. But it seemed she was ij qs much danger not fulfilling her mission with him. Being away from the city, it felt as though this was purely theirs.

"Your dress looked really nice." He broke his silence, feeling foolish that those were his first words here.

[Allura]

"Is that all that's on your mind Phroth?" she says, the curl of her smile affecting the tone as she watches the creature on her arm a moment longer. Petting along the length of it before walking to a nearby boulder and setting it off once more, watching it go.

[Phroth Lissken]

"No." He sighed, moving to where she stood, following her look as the lizard scamperd off. "You've got what is mine. I've got thoughts that this a monumentally bad idea, for both of us, but I don't care that it's a bad idea." A hand reached, awkwardly, before finding a place at the small of her back.

"You should be trying to kill me. You had me dead to rights. I should be trying to save you, to bring you back. But I just want this moment, here, to be ours alone. Damn everything else."

[Allura]

Bringing her bare hand up to the side of his face she looks to him with a smile, though it is brief. "I should be trying to kill you," she says, brushing along with a careful hand, "But- it's I who will save you from what's holding you back. Someday. Tonight though.." she leans forward, placing a kiss on the opposite side of his head, "As you so tactfully put it," she leans back, a smile, "damn everything else."

For once, a movement without hesitation in this. As she kissed the other side of his face, his hand at her back clenched, almost a clawed grip. Muscle tensed, as he pulled her against him. He moved, as she leaned back, his maw to her lips, holding her smaller form tight against his body.

This was wholly theirs.
