"I mostly spent my time on Coruscant in the Jedi Temple."

She grows quiet for a moment, picking at sweet bread crumbs on the table.

"Those were good years. I loved that place. So serene and . . . right. Even when Master Yoda had us lightsaber training at the crack of dawn. As for others like me. Well . . . some are going to get labelled witches, warlocks, crazies and hunted by their own. Others are going to take the easy path . . . the Dark Side and probably deserve what the locals manage to do to them. Others are going to be found by the Empire . . . and executed. A few will never know what they are. They'll just think they're really good at something, or blessed with luck, or have a danger sense. Not all Force powers are visible you see. My major talent lies in pushing my body right to the edge of what it can physically do. Most of the time that just looks like I'm really well trained or strong, or agile. Only when I really align with the Force and push does it look . . . . unnatural."

Dhel listens quietly, turning her mug in her hands with an occasional sip from it. Again, there's a fair bit that's alien. "Align with the Force? Is that what this is doing?" She points at the saber hilt, "and seeking magnets?" She smiles, "convenient if you've always got a compass inside that way, yeah?"

"I think this thing just likes magnetic fields. The Force . . . well the Force connects each and every living thing. Most magnets I know of aren't very alive. Discounting droids, but not so sure on the alive bit with them. When I align the Force flows through me. I mean if I had to I could leap the entire length of this ship . . . would certainly give me away though. Just as much as swinging this thing in public."

Dhel's eyebrows lift. "Sounds like...magic. Or the movie the other night." She grins, pauses in realization, then laughs. "That's why you nearly split in half laughing so hard, isn't it?"

"Sooo, that skeleton punch thing isn't actually real, right?"

"Oh that. No . . not possible. Not even with the Force. SO damn funny though!!!!"

She started laughing again.
